Or try the Camelback Agent or Asset? http://www.camelbak.com/en/Canada/Sports-Recreation/Packs.aspx

Im surprised nobody has said this, but if you want lots of time to play…dont have kids. You cant get home at 520 and be on the trails at 540…thats for sure.

Don't get married either.

Don't buy these forks, they break.

Not suprised. The 2010 888 snapped all the time. At 2010 Rampage, Hopkins, and Doerfling broke theirs too.

Riding with phone

Buy a secondary durable phone, or try OtterBox?

If you don't mind kids, a teacher might be a good option. Good pension, job security (once you've actually got the job), and you get Summers off!

Cypress 2013 Conditions

Has anybody been on Shoreplay lately? Last time I was on it the run-out on the big rock roll was sketchy to say the least….

Rode it on the weekend, seemed fine to me

The run-out is a bit blown out, but it's not too bad. At least most of the braids on the trail have been blocked.

Marz 55 RC3 feels notchy & tons of stiction. Any fixes?

I'm surprised to hear that. I've got a 2011 55 rc3 ti, and it's the best single crown I've ridden. My last single crown was a fox 36 float and, while it was lighter, it paled in comparison with regard to performance.

From what I've heard, most 55 owners from 2010 on are pretty satisfied with their forks.

I tried a 2012 55R, so that's probably why is wasn't good.

Expresso Smooth question

Where does Expresso rate in terms of difficulty on the shore?

I've ridden Crinkum, Most of Ladies, Natural High, Neds, Corkscrew and pingu/pangor and looking for something slightly more difficult. Would expresso be a good step up?

Yes, Expresso would be a good choice. The only thing that somewhat challenging is the first 50m of trail, Expresso Smooth, and a steeper section 2/3 down the trail. Expresso is easier than Ladies.

Canada's War on Weed

marijuana will affect your memory…

only short term memory during the high. it affects your ability to recall from your working memory when THC is bonded to CB1 receptors in Astrocytes and shows no lasting effects once the THC is metabolized. also the decrease in the ability to recall information has been shown to have less affect when the ratio of THC to CBD is lower.

Marijuana use also increases the risk of developing mental illness, specifically Schizophrenia.

Cypress 2013 Conditions

Rode 5th horseman for the first time. Seems in pretty good condition. All trees have been removed from the trail, and the only thing that I noticed was the first side by side drops are damaged and covered in trees and the step up platform could use some dirt…. Wish I had a shovel with me.

Some visual reference:

http://www.pinkbike.com/video/309370/

I was told 5th was the hardest on the mountain… Did I miss something? I know there s one drop that I passed to its right but other than that there wasn't anything obvious. I find all of the rock sections on cherry harder than the ones on 5th…

Cheers

5th is one of the harder trails on the mountain, but It's not the hardest one ;)

Washing a Camelbak, the actual pack...

Check out your local pet supply store and look for Nature's Miracle stain/odour remover. I find that just washing w laundry soap doesnt always fully get the odor out. You can probably machine wash but I prefer to soak [HTML_REMOVED] handwash
