The Big Stupid (Fromme)

I think the rider in that video is rolling into the switchback section at the very end just before the BP

Crazy Pills

How come a chinese made V10 costs $14k but the original Sapa V10s were like what…6k? I can't remember but I sure as hell know it wasnt 14k. Also with products being sold in these price ranges why are industry jobs generally still shit pay?

What do you carry to remove tight tubeless and procore Presta valve locknuts?

Does sealant ever actually work? Aside from helping seat my tire I always wind up using a tube to get me home if I do flat.

The decline of forums

Things I've noticed:
-no Affliction wearing gangbangers anymore. Is drug dealing now passe with the new generation
-the lightest bike buildoff peaked my interest on here (remember that dude with rhe sub 30 pound aluminum session?) and now its gone. Carbon parts have taken the fun out of tinkering imo.
-Facebook does suck now, all political
-Anyone can be famous with a decent Instagram account and some extra money to buy followers.
-People are rejecting technology (3D Television anyone?). Also Nokia is re-releasing their old 5530 or whatever its called due to demand.

Saint/Zee vs. Magura MT7/MT5 : mini review

I see your Fiver World Series training is right on target.

Lol don't get me started. I've never been so obese before.

Saint/Zee vs. Magura MT7/MT5 : mini review

I love my MT5s on my 29er. I weigh 230 pounds right now and they just work. No pumpup, no fading, consistent lever feel. I almost hate talking up these brakes because I feel like I have an advantage and don't want anyone else running them lol.

Something about the snow.

Any season that makes it dangerous to leave your house can pound sand.

time for a new pack

I got my pack early this summer from LBS thru NRG. I recall them having stock of most items.

It must go in waves. Meh anyway I'll check Cove and Ebay.

Hey Simon yeah the tree is right at the beginning so I'd park at the gun range and work my way down.

^ Any shop that has a NRG account can get you one. Will they is an entirely different question.

USWE packs have the huge advantage of set it and forget it harness straps. I run mine as tight as they'll go and just unbuckle for the uphill if I'm feeling restricted. Even unbuckled it moves around less than any other pack.

I had the privilege of seeing NRG's stock on USWE packs and let me tell you its pitiful. Just buy from CRC or direct. Sucks for shops but if their suppliers aren't stocking product then everyones hands are tied.

Sidenote: NRGs Chromag inventory was pitiful when I last checked as well so if a shop can't get you a chromag item I'd take it at face value.

Dog Trainer

I too acquired a year old Catahoula on new years eve. We found that using the gentle leader (google it) and the clicker method (google it) has been awesome.

Quote of the day while riding Thornhill:
'Hey look, theres some guy riding a new slayer'
'Ha watch it be Bradical, new bike for January'
'Haha nah he just got a Yeti, couldn't be him'

5 min later..

'Oh hey Brad! Sick bike!'
