Pay parking on fromme

Apparently it's not the only park that is part of a pilot program for pay parking.

Phoenix and Sedona

For Sedona Park at the Chuck Wagon trailhead and ride chuck wagon.

Mescal is really neat but there are a few bits of small exposure which can be walked. Or you can loop around deadman pass.

Tack on Aerie for a longer loop.

Both bike shops in town can also recommend some good loops.

Vancouver is going to Hell....where is the Outrage!

Here are a few solutions

  • Companies with desk jobs should to allow their staff to work from home at least 50% of the time
  • Choose to live either close to where you play or where you work
  • Have satellite offices for larger companies in different communities so people can work 80% of the time closer to home
  • Require office towers to provide bike storage, showers and lockers for bike commuters

2015 Fiver Feedback / 2016 planning

Bi weekly?!? How about twice a week? Haha! Not sure why anyone would want less fivers.

Weekly would be fine if there was sponsors and adequate volunteers (and a clone of Brian/Maya) to host that many events.

The reason people were suggesting fortnightly is to have consistency to the schedule.

2015 Fiver Feedback / 2016 planning

I know some people expressed preference that the schedule be bi-weekly. Rather than sometimes weekly and others bi-weekly.

When is it time to put on the winter tires?

The week before Whistler opens and I go up to ski for the first time :)

WTF is with TPMS sensors and the inability for mechanics to get them programmed correctly on each changeover!

The South Chilcotin

Not trying to stir things up, but genuinely asking, what damage is caused by someone riding down a slope like that. Wouldn't wind and water erosion more of a factor.

If you make a rut from the tires then you create a channel for the water to flow down. The water can then make the rut deeper and cause more erosion.

Fromme 2015 Conditions

So, is Expresso black (like the sign in the video) or blue (like on the TrailForks map)?

Depends on your perspective.

But I'd go with mainly blue with a few short black features.

Live tree cut out on Good Sir Martin

Maybe the tree should have had a duck with a sign Quack tied to it.

Great work Penny, Martin on the trail. It's a great climb for those multi lap days.

Reverb Rebuild - local

Not North Vancouver but http://www.fluid-function.com in Squamish is the place to take it to. Bike shops should be able to send it to them for a rebuild.

Bend Oregon ride recommendations

Lots of options in the Phil's trails close to town.

You'll also be able to see other areas on that site.
