Yeah and realistically you will replace the wheelset before then anyway

I see. In previous wheelsets I have found the freehub bearings are the ones that tend to fail as they are more easily contaminated, I havn't done many miles on the wheelset since I tore it apart for inspection as we've had lots of snow.

Do you know if it's easy to remove that ring? Or it would have to be hammered out and replaced?

I've run the Michelin Wild Mud Advanced for the last couple of weeks, and got to test them in optimum conditions (deeeeeep mud and wet roots). Having never run a mud tire before I was a little shocked how much grip you get. Confidence inspiring to say the least, and surprisingly (for me) extremely grippy on wet slabs.

Did a zesty pura vida a couple of days ago in the snow. There was 5-6" on the flank. Pretty fun though I had to push most of the way up
