Personally I am NORMALLY opposed to making fun of any public figure based on appearance or other unimportant traits as it's distracting to conversations of actually substance.

Trump is an exception though, somehow me managed to get to office despite countless articles, testimonies and historical evidence of how unsuitable and unqualified he is. He can lie countless times and see literally ZERO repercussions. His mocking of others based on physical appearance begs for the same treatment in return.

Good you bring this up. I personally think Permanent Residents should be allowed to vote. My parents are both Dutch citizens who have lived in Canada since the 70's, but have to give up their Dutch citizenship if there were to become Canadian citizens. Same applies to my Japanese wife.

What I meant is voters should be able to demonstrate a reasonable understanding of policies of party that are running in order to have their vote be eligible. Help ensure that voter education be taken seriously as well as clear and well defined party policy.

Curious how this compares to a Sabatier reaction (conversion of CO2 and H2 to methane) for energy efficiency.

Tech like this could really be ideal for northern [HTML_REMOVED] isolated Canadian communities that are currently dependent on diesel for power generation. ROI should be much shorter given the very high cost of fuel in those locales.

^That's very similar internally to the Honda derailleur-in-a-box. The driver sprocket on the crankshaft is very small, meaning that the pull running through the chain will be way too high for standard bicycle chain. If that's what they are using it's a ticking time bomb.

Arduino is quite amazing, have played around with it in an introductory course at the makerspace here. One of the makers took an old PC CD drive and along with an Arduino and a pen modified it to be a CNC "ink printer". Pretty spectacular that with one of these little $10 boards you can build and control just about anything.

Read a while back about a software that when given load paths and some other basic criteria will generate an optimized structure. The end result is a very organic, skeletal looking frame that is really only constructable via 3D printing. Allows much stronger joints than traditional manufacturing can allow for.

Caveat being that the reinforcement is limited to one plane, limits the applications somewhat.
I imagine the next step would be a print bed with it's own degrees of freedom or building around a spindle so that the finished part could handle loads on any 3-axis.
