Rheeder has crazy style. It transfers to a big bike phenomenally.
Great times as always. Super stoked on the trail as well.
Kilian does some cool stuff, like at 3:38. But the hand plant wall ride stuff is stupid IMO and the super frantic hopping around doesn't do it for me in the slightest. I like technical more than anyone but it has to flow.
The Fox Float X is pretty damn exciting to me. That on a 150mm 650B'er with a 160mm Fox 34 up front… the in-betweener of all in-betweeners.
That Enduro SX looks super badass, though looks more like a DJ frame. What is that, 12″ ST?
The riding and location looked great but the film edit bugged the shit out of me. Stop cutting to a different clip every half-second! I know there were a lot of shots to cover and not a lot of time but I found it hard to watch.
Damn, that's pretty catchy. And yeah, Matt's faster than me. But I'm pretty effing slow.
Coquitlam dirt jumps, Coquitlam skate park… yep a bit nostalgic.
Damnit, I was bored tonight and learned about this just now. Near me too. 🙁
Man, it's totally true. There are now a handful of BMXers who have surpassed ninjas for ninja skills
Good vibes coming from that video for sure. Those two are faster than a lot of guys on this board… myself very much included.
After 3 runs pretty much all I do is complain about my hands hurting.
Fromme has some of my favourite trails but avoiding the climb up Mountain Hwy is pretty tough (impossible?) and does break up the flow of a 'loop'.
My favourite Seymour trail is Pangor, though not the most loop-able. I like a Pingu / Pangor / Empress lap, though the Old Buck / BP climb isn't great. My favourite Fromme lap is Seventh / Ladies / Lower Ladies / Natural High (or similar). Maybe with a Bobsled lap thrown in - Pat's new Floppy section will surely become the go-to warm-up / cool-down lap in Spring!
That was pretty amazing, the whole run looks deadly smooth for someone brave enough to stay off the brakes.
