I want skinwalls for all my bikes. And I remember when I wanted to ditch my skinwalls for blackwalls.
Oh man that is badass. Rheeder has great smooth style. Some huge moves. And it's cool to know a few of those spots - which helps me appreciate how insane the riding is.
Agree on the Laphroaig except with those stacks, ought to be the 25 year.
Would 16.6″ chainstays allow me to manual like Nico Vink?
Sweet, I was the Hope hub tone-check guy. Hahah
This makes me want to have an A-Line Zoobomb. That would be amazing.
Nice spec. The 2-bolt clamp sure does seem dumb! A common problem with droppers is over-torquing of the collar bolt, which binds up the stanchion. The two bolts may spread the load over a larger area better, though it looks easy to over-torque still.
Holy smokes. That was epic. I shy away from using the word epic usually, because I was saving it for this video.
One more: That 3M clear protective tape. Too lazy to buy it myself, but would totally stick it on my bike if I had it.
A new chain could be a good one too, as long as the buyer knows the drivetrain basics about the bike it's for!
PS: Yay, one of my photos!
Spending thousands on a bike and not spending a few extra bucks to get the suspension dialed (by the gentleman above me) is something I would never do again. Spending all that money on the technology is pointless if it's not been optimized for you. I would recommend every rider see Arthur at least once - from there at least you have a baseline understanding.
I agree with everything on the list. There are only a couple front tires I feel comfortable running - rear tire I barely care about. Many bikes come with too-narrow bars, and I don't know how we rode those for all those years. My ideal width tends to be around 760mm for everything.
This was my favourite run as a whole. Bummed it didn't make podium. The top 3 had iconic features, which was all Andreu was missing.
Strait down the middle indeed! That was over quick. I'm sure like everyone else I was killing my neck trying to get the camera to look further ahead.
Honestly that was a 3rd or 4th place run for me (even with a perfectly aimed POV) when compared to the other lines… but that's what the internet's for, right? Disagreement…
While I think those are all podium runs and I can't fault the judging, I really wish Andreu Lacondeguy was on the podium with his run. The speed up top and the hugeness of that superman deserved podium, bigtime.
