Introducing the All-New Norco Fluid FS - Oct. 1, 2018, 1:24 p.m.

Jill Kintner looks to be running a longer travel fork on hers.

TRP Quadiem Brakes - (Gwin's Brakes!) - July 24, 2018, 11:13 a.m.

UPDATE:  I'm just a dummy.  I'd not noticed that the little seal ring on the lever bleed port was still in the hole  (d'oh!).

Dug it out and the Tektro fitting works in the TRP brake.

My bike industry rage has subsided.

I just wish I had a shimano style funnel which worked with these levers...

Of course, the whole idea behind buying these was to mitigate my 3 hours/week bleeding activity with my Shimanos...

Ah, so you yank the little rubber/plastic cover off.  The videos I saw showed a fitting screwed into the hole in the caliper.

As for catching the fluid at the lever, same issue.  I'll see if jamming a syringe in there will work... Not ideal, though.

Thanks for the reply.  I have this kit:

And even the largest fittings are too small for the ports on my TRPs.

I've jumped on these and am trying to get them set up on my bike.  Problem: I need to correctly identify the correct bleed kit for the Quadiems.

Have TRP come up with a different port/nipple from Tektro?  I fear they have... Can you confirm?

Thanks!

Shimano MW5 Winter Shoes: Reviewed - Jan. 23, 2018, 10:09 a.m.

I have them too and was a bit let down by how much water was sloshing around inside the shoes on an extremely wet ride.  Seems gaiters or something of the like would be needed to keep water from coming in from on top.

The sizing seems a bit different from their summer shoes too.  There's room for a really thick pair of socks, which I guess makes sense.  Just something to be aware of.

Now that I've figured out how to wear mine properly, I'm pretty satisfied.

I want one of those Yi Minis.  Doesn't look like amazon.ca has 'em...

All For One (By) - Aug. 20, 2014, 1:10 p.m.

I went to a 30t with the added 42 cog. All shifting was great except the smallest 3 cogs. I've since put on a RAD cage and it has improve shifting dramatically. I can climb pretty much anything I need to with this combo, and only ever spin out on pavement. my bike is stealthy-quiet. totally worth it.

I tried on a medium last night and I looked like I was putting a crab pot on my head.

Sizes run big…

Any word if one of our local outfits might be making a version of this? (NSB, RaceRace, etc…)

My Garmin Made Me Do It - Jan. 7, 2014, 6:43 a.m.

I'm by no means "fit", but getting closer. Close enough to see the attraction, for sure.

Climbing on the road sucks though.
