Re: NSMB - 2018 - Hardtail Thread
So far so good. I'm using an Enduro bb92 bearing set and had them pressed in at the shop. Crankset came with all the tools I need to install and remove

This has been an absolute blast so far. Still getting used to picking better line choices than I normally crash through on my Patrol but the speed this thing picks up is unbelievable, so much fun!
Had some trouble with my Fall Line lately but they just released a service bulletin where my post fit the bill so now there's a new and improved main seal on its way to me as of today. That being said, I'm all but set to go with a Transfer for my Primer build, and my buddy just picked up his second Transfer to replace a Reverb..
Oak Bay Bikes had a demo day at Hartland yesterday, my buddy took one out and said it was unreal. Sit and spin uphill, but he didn't much like it in the corners and a touch difficult to finesse on tech sections.
Really liking my Dell XPS, but I use it for editing photos as well as gaming. My brother just picked up an HP Spectre. One of those flippy ones. He also edits photos, actually quite a bit more then me, and apparently he's liking the screen. From what others have posted, I don't think you can go wrong with an Acer or Asus, but I recommend you futureproof it some and splurge on the better cpu and ssd, you'll need it later!
'Tis a beaut! Hubba. Nicely put together pic too.
How's the Tomahawk rear? Had a sketchy first impression on one.
While technically correct pointing up, for some reason QR's not pointing back give me an eye twitch.
Thank you! The Tomahawk isn't too to bad, but not really the right tire for the current conditions. Quick as hell but yeah, a little sketchy. Looking forward to seeing how it'll do in the summer/trip to Moab in May.

Finally took some actual photos of my new rig. Now I can finally move my 2009 Morewood Zuza that I've been riding since 2010 to spare bike status. It's a nice change of pace to be riding a bike that, other than the pedals, where none of the parts were bought used :D
Cheapest option? Convince your riding buddy to buy a Hope Pro 4 and you'll never ever hear your ST Swiss 350 again!
For me and where I'm currently working, CETA is no bueno.
Had a Bike-Discount order come in, paid $79 before the canadapost worker would hand it over
Got GE1's on my current bike and have another pair on the way for my newbuild. Like them better than the ODI Rogue's, and way better than the Ruffian's. I've got big hands and long fingers so that extra material in the middle of the grip is a huge plus.
Got an order coming from CRC and Bike-Discount. Pulled the trigger on CRC two days before BD, but it looks like BD might have my package in my hot little hands a good deal ahead of CRC..
Did you select BC from the province drop Down? It seems to clear it sometimes and won't let you through.
Well that was weird. Just tried again and it went through with no issues. Last time they asked for my email address which they didn't this time. Odd but w/e
Well this is slightly embarrassing but to those who have used bike-discount.de, did you ever have any trouble with entering your shipping address? The site won't let me proceed past that, and there aren't any indicators as to what I'm not filling out correctly….
