that dog will pay for it in 10 yrs. i regret running mine so hard, lesson learned.
its hard to ride as much as you want when you become a parent, especially if your spouse rides too. less time for bike maintenance, the garage is a mess, tools are hard to find, the house is a mess, you don't sleep as much as you should, you're always a few minutes late for everything. it all melts away as soon as you start pedalling. can't imagine letting life take over completely. fight for it!
that was awesome
please explain why a 140mm trail climbs poorly.
looks like about a 30-lb build, so pretty average.
could the low bar feeling be from the pike? its stands up nicely in its mid- stroke, so you can actually run some proper sag without blowing through travel, like so many forks before it. i felt the same when i rode one. same goes for new fox 40 air apparently, with racers now bringing bar height back up, in some cases dramatically higher.
curious to see how the tubeless goes with these. i have a 26″ AM enve wheelset that burped like crazy (front and rear, same tires as always) when pushed hard. used stan's tape, as i have for years on stans rims with rare burping. wifey has the wheels now and they're much happier with her. i do miss how they rode though.
great review! loved my heckler. maybe one of my favorite bikes ever.
more than a few tricky moves were made to look very easy, well done.
ditch the pack and goggles.
agreed. time to grow up, the joke ran out long ago.
there will be people out there that will look elsewhere because of the name alone.
frame looks nice.
6. no one cares.
pretty funny morgan.
strava is silly, every ride is a (very poorly timed) race for some people now.
i hope the "effective" SA is steeper than 69.5 - ie. i hope that's the angle of the top of the seat post, otherwise its too slack
