The gate was still locked at 2pm. Boooooooooo:lemon:
Damn, I want to do Griffen and Immonator shuttles all day. My ride will pick me up in front of Monica's house each time I'm done. Lol HI MONICA!
They've already been mentioned here, but did you check these out?
I have one on the rear of one of my bikes and it is a very nice wheel!
It is a steep climb eh. Toss in a couple mildly technical bits when you're running out of O2 and it gets challenging. I love it. I know the section that it will connect to and it's not where you would expect. I have been riding that section for many years though and I did show it to certain people who may or not have been NSMBA board members a few years back.
is the secret to turn right on Executioner? I think I know the route you speak of, still never tried it on a bike yet.
It is pretty much the standard SOP of all City Parks type departments. Even better is their solution to any trail erosion……haul in large dump truck or gravel and bury it all under gravel. Then watch it move off the trails when the rains come.
I love how metro goes to the effort of fencing off creeks from dogs (they just go around the fences anyways), but then regravels the trail next to it. First good rain and half the gravel is in the creek. Dumbasses
Metro Van also uses a mini vacuum truck and gas leaf blower crews to remove leaves from trails during fall. This started in the last five years or so. What a fucking waste of money, crew time, and gas! The vacuum truck also sucks up the top layer of loose gravel at least lol
If you do got to Fromme and want to see something cool, on the climb beyond lower Oilcan look for a flat pullout to your left. This is the start of what's left of Jerry Rig. Hike down the embankment and you will see this:
It's actually worth hiking the trail to see some of the structures. They are cray cray!
For currently rideable wood on Fromme, see Upper Oil Can, Ladies, 7th to some extent as there is a revamped stunt, and Pipeline.
