Thats pimp stuff

New cranks arrived today. Getting my new fork tomorrow. Still to come: Brakes, chain ring, guide, pedals, stem, hubs, rims, and a few other small parts to keep me happy this coming summer.

I'd be temped to look elsewhere. I ahven't been impressed by any X Fusion shock I've ever hopped around on and it's expensive to start swapping shocks. Also I have heard from a guy working at MEC that they've had a lot of problems with the dropper posts.

Have been tempted to do it myself as I am currently riding a bike with the worst paint going but I've got a few friends get their bikes powder coated for around $150 but I don't know where.

Sorry to ruin everyone's 9sp party but 10sp is just better. My shifting issues ended the day I went 10sp. Except for my hardtail and commuter bike are running 8sp XT and even though you can't buy nice 8sp cassettes it still shifts better than my 10sp most the time. Also my old XTR pivoting cage front derailleur is the coolest front der I have ever seen.

P.S. Norco (Sorry, Live to Play Sports) do have 9sp XT E type front derailleurs in stock still so any LBS should be able to order you one.

I'm going to be picking up a set in the coming weeks. I haven't fallen in love with the new shimanos. The (in my opinion) very clever sliding lever pivot makes a lot of seance but looks like it'll be sloppy in no time. The new lever pivot bearing looks like a winner as long as they're not too hard to replace now and then. I also like the fact that i don't have to pay $40 for a set of pads with silly fins on them. Hope are badass looking and don't really cost too much more as long as you don't get they're crazy rotors but I don't see me running them any time soon.

Will be running my 2011 Norco Vixa. Easily the heaviest, worst speced bike I have bought in a while but parts keep changing and is easily the funnest bike I have redden in a while.

Cats make lots of different noises, obviously, only way to know for sure is to see it or bring a competent dog with you.

Have to get new brakes soon. Thinking of going Hayes Prime Pro. I really don't like shimano offerings. Just didn't dig any set I have ever tried. I find they have to bite and the lever feel is just a bit off. Avid's are fine but that's about it.

No complaints, feels pretty close to a coil. Getting the right can size and compression tune is key.
