If you like a flat brim....I'd say just f@#king go for it.
If you do not like that odd uncomfy feeling of a flat brim, give it a subtle curve.
You are a mountainbiker. You are the epitome of awesome. Act like one.
The Shore is too far away and therefore too expensive at tje moment.
Given my situation I would love to....BUT. I'd rather spend quality time with my son in his ladt season before primary school kicks in.
Ireland...studied there. Good idea. But.....
That was a great read for a rider that feels like living in the wrong area/space in time and in a country that does not really have this sort of mtb culture.
At least not in my area. I'd love to share a place that is like a 'writer's corner' back in NYC in the early 80s, but unfortunately even the notion of having a postride beer together seems really strange to a lot of riders over here.
According to their website it is 200.
And in euros the bike costs 2,499,-
That was just beautiful.
The vid was refreshingly mellow with great riding and life happening, with a loving appreciation of details (raven bracelet?). I really enjoyed it.
So far the two vids of the series have fuelled my fire for riding.
Thank you for that piece, Fildo and Dave.
Coincidentally, that was exactly what I was needing. Have been needing for a few months, to be honest.
Long story, short version: Sabbatical until end of August this year, but due to unforeseen circumstances my private life took a very painful direction.
All the time prior to the Sabbatical I have had dreams about once again coming to BC for some riding, the road trips in Europe with my son, the places we as a family always wanted to go.
Unfortunately my son's mother decided to call it quits, so I had to fibd a new place to stay, some new furniture and the like.
After almost a year I am right now in the situation of still having a lot of time off. I can go riding when I want to, spend as much time in local bike parks as possible, do great stuff with my son who I can basically see when I want.
All those great places, Vancouver, the Island and the Sea to Sky, Kamloops and Haida Gwaii will be there in the years to come.
Just because I planned on it this year does not mean I am missing something.
I just need to readjust my perspective and outlook.
Thanks again for reminding me of that.
Sorry....but I think the riding was not as good as in other edits from YT.
May your friend who was with you, your family and friends find the strength to go on. My you rest in peace.
My next post-ride beer is for you.
When you are logged in there are two blue arrows below your avatar. Up or down.
Yes....and in Finale Ligure as well, is that Rene Wildhaber offering some Swiss cheese?
That is interesting. One of the Originals speaking in favour of pedal-assisted biking.
It is really great PR for e-bikes. Uphillflow....without a hr monitor beeping in the red.
It basically opens the doors of biking/mountainbiking for all kinds of people.
Beautifully shot, one hell of a down to earth rider, and in a certain way the story of the feathers on trails hit home with me.
