Vehicles that say "I'm a douchebag"

Doesn't really say douchebag to me. Goofy for sure, but not douchey.

Not really.

When people say 'down with Wall-Street' or rail against large corporations, they fail to see that if you trace where the bulk of the money is going to, it's ending up back in the hands of normal people through pension disbursements and health insurance.

:stupid:

I'm currently mystified as to why lambasting corporations is ok, when really, the owners of every corporation are large groups of shareholders and generally those shareholders are pension funds that are providing for many people's retirements and health benefits. Certainly isn't convenient for the OWS movement, I guess.

The connection that you've drawn between corporate performance and people's health benefits/retirements should aid in your demystification.

I played the good looking brown guy in the original version of that commercial. Dan Fanelli's campaign staff said my muscles were too small for me to look like a real terrorist :(

Anyone built a hackintosh?

looking for some help in possbily turning my machine into a hackintosh.
does anyone know of websites to help. yes i'm aware of that thing called google, but i just wanted to hear a few first hand experiences.

i've got a OS X 10.6.3 SNOW LEOPARD disk and a OS X LION usb key.

I just finished building one last week and still working through a few minor (I hope) issues. Can be very frustrating but the components are better than what you can get in a Mac Pro and way cheaper.

Best thing to do is follow a build that someone else did and then copy it exactly. Not all hardware is compatible so it can be a very long and frustrating process if you try to customize on your own. You likely won't be able to do it on your existing machine unless you happen to be lucky enough to have compatible components.

I followed the build here (the Hack Pro): http://nofilmschool.com/build-a-hackintosh/

http://www.tonymacx86.com/ has all the software you need to run and install Snow Leopard (haven't tries Lion yet) plus tons of information and a great forum to ask questions.

You'll need a lot of patience. I had to reinstall the OS five times before I got it right. Might end up having to reinstall once more to take care of an issue.

Macdaddies - OS X Lion anyone?

Running out of disk space on a Mac?

Not that hard to do. Especially with a solid state hard drive.

Macdaddies - OS X Lion anyone?

Chrome and Xcode crashed multiple times so far. Super annoying. Hopefully that gets worked out. Stability is never a pleasant issue.

Switching between desktops and other added mouse gestures are really awesome. It's going to be really easy to navigate folders and apps after some getting used to. Except the default natural scrolling which is the most unnatural feeling ever. Easy to change though.

Also takes up an extra 6 gb. In case you're running out of disk space.

google+ invites

Is it still difficult to get an invite? Seems like that should already be so last week.

This week is all about the Spotify invites.

Google+

They should have gone with Google++. Fits their quirky nerd persona better. Just like bidding pi times a billion for Nortel patents.

I'm starting my own social network called Gangsta++. Send six pack for invite.

A plea from someone on a sinking ship (RIM)

Awesome letter. They have already addressed the letter on their blog:

The witch hunt is on! Must suck to be the guy in charge of their 9530 software. At least he is excused from the hunt.

save the flashbang nutshot!

Yikes! This pure gold is in jeopardy. Hopefully it spreads to other video hosting sites soon.

How dedicated are you to preserving this video? If it is destroyed will you put your nuts on the line to recreate the scene for filming? Will you? Huh?

anybody want to join my crew

I am in. What are we called?

I suggest the name of the gang be "dia de los muertos."

Boots should be curved and pointy but also have switchblades in them. Blades should protrude from the boot just before the pointy part curves back and loops around.

Will come in handy for kicking enemies in the shin, slashing tires, and slicing watermelons at picnics.

ASS-HAT Parking Job. Great for business.

The driver of this car must have been handicapped to park like this. Way to represent the company.

Lame, but not as bad as this Prius driver blocking my girlfriend's driveway a few weeks ago.

She was on her way to my house and waited about 15-20 min for the jerk to show up. Driver never showed so she called the city, waited another 30 minutes for parking enforcement to show up, and another 15 min for the tow truck.

Totally ruined an hour of sexy time we could have had before going to see Death Cab. Nice way to represent Spiteri Builders you cock-blocking illegally parked asshat Prius driver :flame:

Only consolation is that they must have paid at least $550 in fines and tow fees.
