Vid - Berrecloth Search & Destroy

Cool vid.

I know these are basically long commercials - but I really wish they had more riding in these short vids.

Vid/Story/Pics - Danger Dan Returns to The Flying Circus

Brodie? I remember seeing vids of him and the Flowriders riding Ellsworth frames (JOker first, later different models) after 2000 me thinks.

I think it was Brodie, then Ellsworth, Yeti, Banshee, Brodie again and then Racebike.

I actually dig his racebike.

Vid/Story/Pics - Danger Dan Returns to The Flying Circus

Also proving that those (sorry but ugly as sin) Tag Wheels are bombproof, that is the exact same setup since the last time I rode with him, on Bowen, in 2007!

Oh, they are.
I had them for a bit. 11 lbs a set :eek2:
And because of the composite material, the rear tire would slip and shear off the valve stem. Used hairspray to glue them in…

Anyways, Dan is definitely the man. I have the NSX series and always enjoyed watching his segments. Same thing with Kranked. The Circus always amazed me.

Driving into a Massive AZ dust storm

That wasn't much fun, let me tell you.
Hit me while I was riding my bike. Its like this big massive wall of dust coming at you and it moves fast…dirt in my eyes, nose, mouth.

The day after, there was still dust in the air, gave everything a strange color.

We already think you're weird Japan, you don't need to keep proving it.

Do they really have NOTHING else to do over there?
Creepy and weird don't even begin to describe this…

A plea from someone on a sinking ship (RIM)

Can't stand by Blackberry.
Compared to all the other phones I've seen, its garbage.
As soon as my contract is up, I'm ditching it for either an iPhone or a Android-based phone.

Boston Bruins Bottle Service

I call my friends stupid when they spend $300 at a bar for the night. Sure, they earned it and can spend it how they want. But like Synchro said, I can still call them stupid.
And I definitely think the Bruins' bar tab is the epitome of stupid.

Any of you guys do this shit?

I think the hatred towards unicycles is due to the fact that they are actually 1-wheeled FIXIES.
:coffee:

Hmm…
Ok, I might give you that one. LOL.

Because they are for clowns, jugglers and mimes.

And bicycles are for kids and drunks.

Its never good to generalize…

^^^

Don't really understand where the hate comes from.
Uni's seem to attract a TON of hate…

(yes, I ride a Uni, not offroad yet, but hopefully soon)

Little info on Muni's - most often they are standing up, so the shock goes into their legs, not their balls.
And they often have an inflated inner tube cushioning their seat with a cover over it.

I just ate durian...

My sister is living in HK right now. She tried durian finally, she said its not too bad once you get past the horrible smell. That doesn't make sense to me, but whatever. I will most likely try it when I visit, just to say I've done it.

She did say that she could smell it everywhere in HK at a certain time of year and had to find out what it was.

Anybody run a MET parachute helmet?

I ran the Parachute for 2 seasons.
The "Jaw protector" sucks. Its heavy, bulky and after seeing it in person, I'm pretty sure it would be completely useless in a crash.
I started running the helmet without the jaw protector and while it fit ok, it was heavy and bulky. Heavy enough that I would notice it on a long trail ride.
After it died, I switched back to a Giro Hex for trail and a proper full face for DH. My vote - don't do it.
