Sunshine Coast (2012)
Viper is still under mad amounts of snow. Rode Red Baron last weekend….hiking through snow made for very wet feet. The lower stuff was mint!

What kind of riding do you do? If you are into xc/all mountain, you may find it ok. If you are into DH, the bike park, and the diversity of riding Squamish, Whistler, Pemberton, the Valley, and Interior, then you are going to be very disappointed. It's a totally different vibe over there. I've lived in both cities, and I would never live in Victoria again. It also is about a 3hr/$120 round trip:(
What googles have people found that work best in the slop and most fog-resistant? I've picked out the foam out of the top, but there must be a better way!
The craziest bike trials vid I've ever seen!
Thanks for the info people. I'm assuming that the JB Weld product is just as easy to use as nail polish? I had never even heard of this product so my knowledge is based upon my super quick google search. I'm trying to be a little more tech savvy:) And 1000 grit emery cloth it is!
So I've scratched up my stantions:( Suggestions on repair? I'm looking for some cost sensitive alternatives.
Looking into getting a camera for mainly video. DSLR or camcorder. Thoughts or suggestions?
Thanks for the info guys. We're going:)
"All mountain" is what downhillers do when they don't want to admit to riding xc:)
Was thinking of hitting up Bear/Red all mountain trails Jan 3rd. Anyone know where the snow line is or what the trail conditions are like? Thx!
Hey D, I sent you a PM.
Thursday would work for me. I just need to be sure my bike is ready to ride and my gear in order. I'll confirm by Mon or Tue. I'm so stoked to ride! Although I don't know the moto trails in Squamish,. Any suggestions?
Hey ladies, I just got a cr230 and am dying to get out! I have lots of time this summer!!! Where do you usually ride? Squamish and Pemby works best for me.
Monthly room rental: $1000
Bike park pass: $300

Many, many bike repairs: $200
Summer of riding the bike park: Priceless
For everything else: Mastercard
Hey, I am riding a little Heckler and I love it. I can rip it in the bike park and pedal a cross country trail. I have a Fox VanR fork up front. It jumps like a charm, can handle the steeps and drops with ease, and is light enough to lift onto your bike rack. I am 5'4" so for a smaller woman, the small Heckler is a dream, with great stand over and a short cockpit. Did I mention that I love my bike?
