I noticed both an article and a thread on here getting people to show off their trail dogs. While I can appreciate the companionship of riding with a dog, I believe we are overlooking a more important trail-buddy: our cats. There is nothing quite like ripping Neds or Ladies with your feline friend in toe. Not only are they more nimble than dogs and thus more able to huck drops and ride technical steeps than dogs, but they are quite a bit more intelligent than dogs and tend not to try to have sex with each other like dogs do. Do you know how bad it is to take a breather on air supply and have your dog try to fuck another trail rider[HTML_REMOVED]#8217;s pet? It throws off the mellow vibes of the rip.

I don't know whether or not you are all familiar with the website www.mtbville.com. It is a decent blog run by established shore local Ross Measures. I noticed that the picture Ross uses in the upper left-hand corner of the screen to identify himself shows Ross hitting a drop on the shore. I looked closer because I, like any shore rider, can appreciate a lofty piece of airtime. My enjoyment ended when I realized that the drop was built by being nailed into live trees. I'm no digger, but I know as well as any other self-respecting trail rider that you never nail into live trees. Dangerous Dan has hammered that point home countless times and it has been a key arguement between our collective mountain bike army and the facist dictators over in the offices of the District of North Vancouver. I put it to you Ross, what were you thinking?

I find this new bike lane to be proposterous. I have a giant SUV and the fact that I can't be boss hoggin and owning lanes is quite simply infuriating to me. All so that these so-called "commuters" have a little more elbow room.

This thread is a prime example of why I deserve a massive amount of rep points and why I should perhaps even be nominated to some sort of executive position. I mean, this will be the 39th reply while most other threads sit limp because no one really gives a shit about some guy enquring about the difficulty of pipeline or the new sram deraileur. In this thread alone I already have two guys going off on some totally unrelated fight and I believe one of them even used the word "faggot". I think I should get a weekly column on the home page. I think we are all pretty sick of these neutral bike reviews and poorly written stories about insignificant bike rides. I mean, yesterday was goat style in which a bunch of local bros just placed really well ( big props to lawrenuk on the win) and I can't seem to find shit about it on the home page. I can however get an actively depressing story about "Kona Shocky Inc"
