After 6 months of wife complaints about the Lev Integra's level being too hard to activate I decided to fix it.

I had a Fox DOSS remote lying around so I installed it in place of the stock remote. the extra length on the lever makes it's way easier to to drop the post.

The recent thread titled "No Respect" described an incident involving a sponsored rider.

Yet I failed to see mention in this discussion of the one group of people who could probably wield a great deal of influence with this issue - the sponsors.

Who know who you are, and I have a couple questions for you.

Do you have a code of ethics for riders riding/wearing your product?

Do you regularly (ever?) talk to your riders about your expectations of their behaviour in public whilst sporting your gear?

Ever sanctioned a rider you've sponsored?

I was reading other threads where solar and wind are touted as real solutions for large scale power generation. These technologies are great for small scale application but are not viable long term.

Nuclear power is a real solution, but it's taboo because people associate all things nuclear with either bombs or disasters. This is holding the technology back.

This is the new Nuclear reactors, they can't melt down, they produce a fraction of the nuclear waste, and the waste produced is safe to be around in 1/3 the amount of time.

Clean safe carbon free energy, in massive quantities.

Super weak. If I'm not mistaken we have the strongest most focused leadership that mountain biking in Vancouver has ever seen. I see more cohesiveness now then ever. Builders working together. Events are running at an unprecedented level. Funding for trails is at an all time high. The North Shore is the envy of every MTB organization in the world. The best part is you can put down your keyboard and go be part of it. The volunteers who run the nsmba put in a lot of work. Volunteer burn out is a huge problem so fresh blood with fresh ideas is always welcome. Its not the cliquey boys club it used to be. So I dont understand this pissy attitude on NSMB. Nobody told any of you that you can't be part of the process. Stop spending so much time focusing negative energy on NSMB and use that energy to get involved with the NSMBA. You'd be suprised how much the current volunteers would welcome you.
