Yeah they are idiots, people with a chip on their shoulder who want to blame everyone else for their miserable lives, especially mountain bikers. I just ignore them.

I know once she came outside and said she had nowhere to park her cars and told us to park in the school parking lot because we weren't allowed to park on the street. I told her to show me where are the signs saying I cannot park there. She couldn't answer, then she said again " I don't have anywhere to park my cars" I told her" How about your driveway, you never park in it"
Another time we wre parked beside her house on Pinewood, and she came out and asked us to move across the street because we were on "her sidewalk" lol a quiet little woman that rides with us told her" How about you go in your house and try getting laid, maybe you might surprise yourself and smile for once". She stormed back in the house. I have made a sign I tape to the side f my van if ever I need to park near her place" Do not disturb Mountain Bikers" LOL

What good would that do? Those who think they can handle the stunt (imagining they are invincible) will just ignore the sign.

And people put a 'Beware of Dog" sign on their property fence for what reason again? Oh yeah if they intrude in the property and the dog bites them, they arent liable BECAUSE the sign was posted around the place.

At least this stunt is kind of scarey looking (from the picture at least) and would hopefully make the average person 'think twice' prior to taking the plunge… What more could the builder have done to discourage those who shouldn't be riding it? Certainly making it more appealing isn't going to keep more people off of it… As riders we need to be more accountable for our own decisions rather than place the onus on the builders shoulders.

Problem with that is it only takes one person to "think"they can do it, hurt themselves badly, and get the parents involved and again sue the city, like what happened at the Shed years ago.
It only takes one person to Eff it up for the rest of the riders, and possibly the trails as well.
A good idea would be to put a sign up " Ride at your own risk" on stunts like this that way no one is liable ?

any stunt could be considered dangerous, but in MY opinoin that tranny is just waiting to put somebody in a wheelchair.would you see a tranny like that in the boneyard,I doubt it.

That tranny reminds me of a shorter version of the rock roll on Espresso

You guys ever have a run in with the crazy lady that lived on the corner of pine wood and whatever street that is across from the school? They used to park their cars in front of their house so no one would park there. I was happy when they had a sold sign on their house, but then notiuced they moved one house over!@!!! DAMN!!! I couldn\t believe that LOL

Yeah you saw us then! One of us had a polished Team DH, I had a grey Shore, hypa was on a white Jamis and another guy had a white Brodie.

Yeah I remember the guy with the polished Team DH sitting on the ground fixing something near the entrance from PIneview. Yo uguys were sessioning the jumps. The group I Was with was so slow I wanted to go back in for another hour or so of riding but no one else wanted to, and I'm not to keen on riding by myself in case something happens, always nice to have someone else there.
Is there an SBC still in existence?

The Corp. trails have official names, signs [HTML_REMOVED] a map; the smaller [HTML_REMOVED] SBC trails still have names, but not signs and no map.

ah ok, is sbc still in existance? I checked the website they had up and said it didnt exist… unless they have a new one not sure. I just go in there and ride, I see a trail , I'm on it lol… easiest way to get a good 3 hour ride in.

I really need to find out which trail matches which name. A SBC map would help a lot since the Delta map has virtually no trail names on it.

I'm not too sure of the trail names either, Ithink there are only a few "actual" trail names( Canyon Trail, Pinewood Trail, Briarwood Trail, Gravity Bowl rail, Upper Trail, Lower Trail), the rest are just there, then not sure. I do know that place inside out now, I ride it so much being it's the closest place to home for me .

Uh, I'm not sure actually. Have to ask hypa

Something with a tabletop (Goat's?) [HTML_REMOVED] the Gravity Bowl are all that I know haha.

We ran into a large group at the gravity bowl. There were 4 of us on DH/FR bikes and full face helmets…were you with the big group that watched us do the bowl?

I think I seen you guys up at the top riding the jumps and table top. We never went down to the bowl, eventually our group was split up in two, maybe the other half went to the bowl nt sure . One of you ride a polished Norco ? I Was riding a blue Assquatch and was also riding the jumps a bit .

Wanted bike for brother in law

Thanks! too freeride tho! and it needs to be complete cus I'm to lazy to build it up for him.

Go to Caps Westwood Cycle at Rocky POint Plaza in Port Moody and get a brand new Giant TranceX4 for around 1300 or 1400 new.
Get hime to join the vancouver mountain bike meetup group and get 5% off the purchase, basically don't pay tax. No I don't work there I know Dave who runs the store though. Trance X4 is 5 and 5.

Had my first shed ride today with hypa and a couple of buddies. Had a great time in the damp conditions, will be back for sure!

I was there today as well with a huge group, really too big to do anything, 19 of us.
