Yep, most of the guys I rode with around there are long gone(back when the local mtb forums were still going strong), or are still in school out west. Most of my riding buddies are in the vancover/whistler area these days

Im actually back in the RKPT area at the moment recovering from surgery as I like 'MERICAN healthcare better. But, im planning on moving back out to vancouver in a few months after ive healed back up and off crutches.

I feel for you, Ive been in your position before. You really just need to sack up and not think about the injury. Sounds cruel but come to grips with it and tell yourself its time to move on. Eventually you will get over it. Im rehabing from a tibial break currently and havnt been cleared to ride by my doctor yet (It should be healed by the end of december hopefully).

just gonna add in that my trailer (airstream) has a wireless hydraulic braking system. It works like a charm, and beats my old electric brakes anyday, but has costly and heavy(for bike standards) going against it.

Ive heard the leatt adventure neck brace had a solid fit from a few people.

On a side note can someone please link me to at least one scientific study or journal that actually says these things even work? Thats a study, not some site saying "buy my product, i think it might work" Im a kinesiology student and looking for facts that the whole neck brace deal is more than a fad. Im probably mistaken but I remember reading somewhere that a few pro moto riders refused to wear them, as its known to actually cause spinal injury if the helmet gets knocked off. Hell I might even do grant research if nothing shows up…. :nerd:
