Nerds: Malware, Overheating or P.S.

I read about the too much is a bad thing of the goo when trying to figure this out.. which led to posting this.

I'm comfortable pulling chips and cards but where do I find this goo? Aaaand what if the CPU has a cooler that isnt goo'd on?

Hahahah you just solved your own problem. You can buy tubes of thermal paste at futureshop for cheap, each tube is just enough for one application. Youtube has videos on how to properly apply it.

So how much does one have to spend for a decent system to play d3?

My laptop is on its last legs after running too many FEA simulations on it for my project this month. Want a decent box anyways.

I'm sure one of you could easily notify me of my required budget minimum.

ps, self installation not an issue

D3 isn't exactly a resource heavy game, you can get away with it on a super cheap budget.

Pick up an i5 2500k and a decent video card and you'll max it out no problems.

So you built up a new rig to play spreadsheet simulator?

I remember when all the WoW expansions came out, there was outages for maybe half an hour at most, then the game worked fine.

Pretty standard for a game that's this widely anticipated.

lol no not really.

This is what happens when developers turn into retards and force useless DRM that will be cracked in two weeks down everyones throats.

It's a primarily single player game, the fact that I can't play it cause SERVERS for a single player game are down, is the stupidest shit on the planet.

Tungstens sig always makes me laugh.

People without guns don't shoot people.

Correct, they just stab them with sharp pointy things and throw rocks instead.

Got a quote from Coast capital today, 2243 for a year on a 2010 genesis coupe as compared to 2836 from ICBC
