In case any of the ladies missed this video I just wanted to post it in the ladies forum. I enjoyed this video very much and thought it was very well done, well shot, the riding was great and it was an inspiration.

World cup XC winner and Kamloops local Catharine Pendrel is in contention to be Canada's next Flag Bearer at the 2012 Olympics. Vote for her to help her win. She's a lovely lady and how cool would it be to have a mtbiker representing Canada as the flag bearer. Vote for Catharine, she's a wonderful representative for women and mountain bikers!

What did you end up finding for her?

Wish I lived closer to the coast for 4X, sounds like a blast.

I have seen how some people lock up their bike shops.

I am personally surprised we don't see more of this. Can it really be that hard to secure a shop against thieves?

Smash a window or 2 but unless your 48 lbs you shouldn't be able to get thru proper bars? Windows are expensive, if the thief sees no plan to success he will just go find another shop?

We have awesome bars and the thieves stole a car and drove it through the front of the store. So we added pillars everywhere, then the thieves smashed a window and used a huge axe to smash the bricks around the bars and removed the bars from the brick. What will they think of next?
