Re: Bigger range 11 speed cassettes.....

I've been on an e.13 9-46 TRS+ / 11s xtr combo for two years now, with no issues other than I just replaced the three al cogs. The x01 I had on my previous bike lasted 4+ years as my main ride. The e.13 is wearing quicker but I was able to keep it going.

Did the spider I sent you work out or did you find another solution?

Re: I want to run a bash guard on 2020 Sram X0 Eagle cranks...

Actually I don't think what I have will work for what you want to do. The spider I have is designed for a single ring; it only has a flat interface on the inside for the one ring, and it is rounded on the outside.

Re: I want to run a bash guard on 2020 Sram X0 Eagle cranks...

I have a spider from a Truvativ XO DH crankset I bought in 2013. I immediately swapped the spider and 36T ring for a smaller DM ring, and the spider has been sitting in a bin in my basement ever since. You are welcome to have it. If you want it, send me a PM and we can figure out how to get it to you.

Re: Maxxis DHF 2.6

Hey flowrider (and others of course), what was the long-term verdict on the DHF 2.6? Winter is coming and I need some new wet weather tires.

There is a Toyota add at the top of the page that comes and goes at about one minute intervals. Each time it come or goes, everything on the page shifts down or up to accommodate. It is really annoying when reading articles on this site. It happens on the front page articles and while reading forum posts.

I just pushed out an update to the server that hopefully fixes this. Let me know if you see any improvement. Thanks!

Thanks, its fixed for me; no longer shifting up and down.

Ride more, bitch less.

Here's the new trail dog.

Oh my, what a cutie! Looks like a Muppet. I miss my old trail dog. Best riding buddy ever.

Grips

ESI silicone are what I prefer , since switching to them I get less numb hand on long climbs and less hand cramps on the down . The downside is they do throttle grip , but after riding them all winter I will continue to use this type of grips.

I have been thinking about trying these. What do you mean by "throttle grip"? They slip (twist) on the bar?

Thanks

Why has Pink Starfish been decommissioned?

Def NOT Digger. Very old structure near the beginning of Starfish. Hasn't been there for years, it pretty much rotted away.

Looks like Digger to me too. Check out MattJ's video, http://www.trailforks.com/video/36/. That stunt appears starting at 2:39.

2016 WCDH

I searched but could not find a clip of Mark's (l want to call him Markie, are we doing that?) 2015 MSA run, or even just that one section. Would be cool to see him do well there again this year.

No matter what, I think I will be crying a bit during each of the remaining WCDH races this year.

I'd love to see Mark Wallace on the podium… as I'm sure many others here would too.

Absolutely! He has shown the skills. His double into the rock garden at Mt Sainte Anne last year was a wholee chit moment for me.
