From my personal experience Rocky has had an issue with q c for a while. I bought a new Altitude in 2014. I went through three front triangles in three years. Rocky was good about replacing them but the last time they wouldn’t pay for the swap. I said to hell with that and bought my Canfield.
I like that you ended with an olive branch. 😇
I’ve never liked the assumption that e bikers don’t build, maintain or donate to local trail organizations. And it is an assumption made in many online “arguments”.
It’s seems pretty obvious you haven’t ridden one. Mountain biking means different things to different people. You should try one, have an open mind. Push it to your/it’s limits and report back.
When I first got mine I’ll admit I was concerned about the haters but I’ve only encountered two over the year or so I’ve had it. Most people I cross paths with on my local hills are curious about them or proclaim that one will be their next bike.
By the way, that sound you hear coming up behind you, well, that’s the sound of a smile.
Easily the most mature online conversation about e-mtb I have seen. 👍
Seems not that long ago Cam, you were removing e-bike content weren’t you?

Curious, how was it getting the tire off?
Exactly my point Andrew, check you’re sarcasm meter.😉
Don’t sprain an ankle, it could happen
Still have mine hanging on my garage wall. Was one of my favourites for sure. Pure freeride.
I for one hope we keep standard time. I work outside (road construction) and cringe at the idea of it being dark out till after 9am in the depth of winter. I hope more serious thought would go into this. Perhaps a proper referendum. It’s easier for a place like California to keep Dls as they are closer to the equator and already get more daylight.
Considering that it was their first time down TNT, maybe they should have let him drop in first?
Love the grape, nice lookin’
honestly, I thought an E Bike in Whistler would be politically incorrect.
