im trying to get up saturday for the opening day at whistler but im sort of stuck for a ride

is there any busses besides huckwagon, maybe greyhound or something that could get you up quickly and reliably?

far as avid and sram goes im pretty confident in strength
and weight on those arent much of an issue unless their lead.

Got a bunch of new cash to throw around so im thinking about upgrading on my bike. Im thinking either a juicy code (front) or a sram x.o set. i'd be moving from a hayes el camino or a sram x9 so just wondering what the better deal of money would be for either

anyone heard any pros or cons for either product?

ive got hayes el caminos so i need fluid i think. i havent bled these ones before. dot 3 or dot 4 type fluid? is there a diff and how do you tell

loosen off both bolts that hold your caliper on so it can wiggle around
and then grab your lever and it should re adjust your caliper so they should grab at the same time. keep holding the brake lever down and tighten the bolts back up and your done. also dont press them upside down or the air bubbles will go to your lever and make it really squishy

does brake fluid for cars work the same as the stuff you would buy from a bike shop? i was at the shed this weekend and couldnt stop at all brakes were way too spongey. im about to bleed them and have enough car fluid left and just wondering if it would work

does it matter? if your on an mtb it doesnt require a fullface and bodyarmor to dirtjump lol. jeans actually give half decent protection…just make sure they arent expensive they seem to rip easier
