Edward Snowden

The fourth amendment isn't as important as the second, apparently.

Kn.

It's the most important amendment actually. It is the means by which the population can defend the rest of their constitutional rights.

Coyotes.

I suggest a gun gasp assuming you're outside city limits in a place where discharge of firearms is legal.

Something in .223/5.56 caliber would be ideal, but you could also do something like pick up a surplus semi-auto rifle like an SKS for around $300. The surplus 7.62x39 round it shoots is extremely cheap and plentiful.

Buying Ammo in Canada

I havent had a hard time yet, I have a pretty good stockpile of .22, 5.56, .308 12ga and 9mm.

Was out shooting with some buddies today that say lots of places like walmart and cdn tire are out of the bigger value packs of 12ga/.22 etc. The only thing I did notice last week was when I tried to buy 1000 rounds of 9mm. My gunsmith asked if I was ok only taking 500 so that he'd have enough to spread out to other customers, didn't bother me much since I only need it to last me a couple weeks and he should have more by then. This was also all factory reloaded ammo btw.

Too bad about the name though, fucking stupid sounding.

I love that lambo, bonus points: it's not called the Lamborghini Lamborghini. Too bad they're only making 3 though.

You have an opinion thats fine so do I. I'll make this easy for you to rebut.

The only part gun debate I care about is semi automatics and automatic weapons and lets say a clip with more than 6 rounds.

So please explain to me why these are needed and in what respect they are useful in lawful gun use?

For someone who is clearly the most knowledgable firearms expert in this thread, it sure is strange you seem to not know the difference between a clip and a magazine… Also, i'm sure you also know that a magazine (lets use the correct term here) is limited to 5 rounds for all rifles with the exception of, I believe, the M1 Garand which uses a 6 round stripper clip. Most would agree that this is not the first choice for a would be mass murderer. Fun fact, the gov't defines magazines by what they were originally designed for. For example, pistols are allowed to have 10 round magazines. One can legally purchase LAR-15 magazines which were designed for pistol use and go ahead and load those in your AR-15 (a rifle which would normally be limited to a 5 round magazine) because they are chambered in the same 5.56mm round. But I digress.

As I'm sure you're aware, full autos are already prohibited, so we can probably stop muddying the waters with that scary term since it isn't relevant to this discussion. What about hunters who want to have a rifle capable of firing quick follow up shots in case the first is off target etc. Gas guns are getting to the point where they can be almost as accurate as a bolt gun at extended distances and more user friendly, since you don't have to run the bolt for each shot.

Gun control doesn't work. look at the school shooting in Montreal a few years back. We have "GUN" control it's bullSh!t.

Assault weapon control would work. Simple law no auto or semi auto guns. No guns explicitly designed to kill people including hand guns.

but don't control hunting tools like rifles. when was the last time a guy went on a multi kill rampage with a hunting rifle?

If you are truly a farmer you'll agree.

This is possibly the stupidest thing I've read all year.

1.Gun control doesn't work so let's institute some form of gun control. Nice logic.
2.One already cannot buy an "assault weapon" in Canada, nor can you easily convert a non "assault weapon" into an "assault weapon"
3. No semi autos for what reason exactly? I bet I can run the bolt on my rifle (6 rounds)/put 7 rounds of 00 buck on target with my shotgun quicker and more accurately than you could with a semi auto.
4. Rampage with a hunting rifle? Ever heard of Charles Whitman? What about the DC snipers? What about that guy that killed all those Mounties in Alberta (I think) as they approached his property? A hunting tool is no more or less dangerous than any other type of firearm one can legally purchase in Canada.
5. All guns were designed to kill people. But just like knives, we have found other uses for them.
6. Don't ban firearms based on an arbitrary set of criteria, or because they're black and scary looking.

NBR discusses abortion protests.

I saw them earlier this week as well standing around downtown with their sandwich boards etc.

Everyone is entitled to peaceful assembly etc. but I can't help looking down on these people. It would be a different matter if there was some good evidence to support your side, but to protest in the tasteless manner that you do just because you believe in some fairy tale in a book? Fuck off please.
