Re: Cypress - New Survey is up - TRAILS ABOVE 1200ft IMPACTED

Darn I missed the survey, but thanks Dave and Alan for continually advocating.  Glad to hear there seems to be agreement on keeping the trails dh/freeride oriented.  No Cypress Espressos!

Re: Here's a fun one. What was the first mountain bike you owned? Second bike?

'87 Diamondback Apex.  I cut the bars down to maybe 450mm lol.  Then a '90 Rocky Mountain Stratos after the DB got stolen.

Has anyone actually run into the E-rangers while riding unsanctioned trails?

yes and friends of mine have tickets as well.

How much were the tickets?

Re: Lost - OneUp pump & EDC tools on Cypress July 6

Thanks, and thanks for the tip.  It wouldn’t be on a trail, I took it off the bike as I was loading up the vehicle to head home.  I went back but couldn’t see it, so someone probably picked it up.

Lost - OneUp pump & EDC tools on Cypress July 6

Pump was stuffed full of all the EDC tools. Probably fell out of my vehicle at the first switchback parking area across from the works yard. Was parked on the south side of the road.  Reward for safe return.  Thanks!

Re: To boost or not to boost, that is the question...

I’ve been using the MTB Tools adapters with a CK 12x142 hub for a few months now, seems to work fine.  I’m running a non-boost crank setup so chainline is unaffected.

Re: Froome Gate Update

To answer my own question, it’s 7pm currently.  Not responsible for the typo in the OP :-)

Cypress Village Public Form #2 on Thursday

Thanks Alan. BPP already seems to be working on the "upper mountain path" shown in the first map of the week 2 consultation boards. Was there any further discussion on that?

Norco Range/Aurum?

Wow, that's not even close. Someone is missing their Carbon Aurum.
