When did cross-country become a dirty word?

Racing to me is defined with a clock. XC riding doesn't need a timer.

Word.

I ride x/town, x/2nd narrows bridge, x/north shore, up old buck, down neds, x/bridle path, down to and x2nd narrows bridge, then back x/town to a cold beer.

I might time myself once and a while but that ain't racing.

Luckily I never invested in a rig so big that it compels me to shuttle.

Given the contents of the just released IPCC report I think in future I'll confine myself to hauling my ass up the mountain under my own power.

Or granola head telecrashers who avoid ski runs like they are a bad thing. .

Hey! I resemble that comment.

But I go b/c 'cause I'm poor. And am sore afraid of knuckledraggers………..:eek2:

Stinky or Big Hit 1

OK sorry this could be considered thread drift or even bait-n-switch :S but the "shopper" is now saying he's now considering breaking the piggy bank 'cause he got a good look at an RMB Switch which I guess the componetry? makes it more expensive but anyone have any thoughts as how it would compare/differ from the Stinky/BigHit w/handling ride quality? Looks heavy to me.

Thanks again for your ideas…………sooner or later he's gonna' buy sumpin' and this will all end.

Stinky or Big Hit 1

:announce: - I was badgered into posting this by a computerless luddite.

Courier gets :hurt: downtown ends up w/new work bike and $$$$.00.

 Wants inexpensive dualie. Finds temptation in either a Big Hit FSR 1 or Kona Stinky.

Which does he choose? :???:
