I think you need to know what the perpose of the card is as well. You stated earleir it is branding. If that is your goal, I would personally remove the email address and just put the website. People will be able to contact you easily enough from the site and directing people there helps with your brand. I would personally stick with | phone # | Website | in simple minimalist font like the front.

I agree with Pedro on a lot of his points. There seems to be a lot of people who think their jobs are safe yet fail to provide anything essential to the population.
Any person who suddenly has lost income is going to keep buying food and shelter. Everything else will see reduced cashflow, except possibly alcohol and drugs.
Same goes for a company, all non-essential parts of the operation can be cut. Advertising and marketing are near the top of that list.
Not even close to safe. My odds improve by being well liked and not causing trouble, but January is going to hit us hard. I would guess at least 15[HTML_REMOVED]#37; lay offs, maybe more.
There are people out there who are obese due to medically diagnosed conditions. These people deserve the same rights given to any other person with a medical disabillity. They can provide a doctors letter to verfiy this, and should be given the second seat.
However the morbidly obese people who are in that condition because of a series of life choices are a different situation all together. If you have made choices that prohibit not just your comfort, but also potentially that of another paying customer you should be responsible for paying extra charges necessary to accomodate you.
It becomes a sad statement on the direction of our health when the person bringing their bike/golf clubs/skis/surf board on vacation is charged an extra wieght fee, but the morbidly obese person gets a free extra seat.

I disagree on a one point here, once you learn how to use the basics on a DSLR you will get better photos. Two reasons, depth of field, makes far better portraits easy, and second, the faster speed means fewer missed photo ops. I knew very little when I got my 40D, but the photos were obviously better almost right away.
Even with a hack like me, the DSLR will take a better photo everytime.
They make some quality products, interested to see them in person. Mostly just concepts right now.

Have you ever worn a TLD helmet? They are so comfortable and fit perfectly. Also, you can cushion the price tag blow by buying on sale… I bought my latest carbon fibre TLD for $225! Well worth the cost to me.
I agree. I got mine for abotu the same price, and afert rocking a 661, it felt like a million bucks. Plus I can't say enough for how goggles fit. Always perfect.
Pricey yes, but far more than just a paint job.
The 220 is for auto only. The 430 can be used is manual. For that alone I say it's worth it. I have the 430, it's great once you figure out what everything does.
Oh, and the 220 is not wireless compatible.

That essentially makes the decision easy.
So it is Christmas time and in order to improve my indoor photography I want to get a speedlite for my 40D. At this point I have pretty much settled on the 430EX II. This will largely be for indoor portraits, think wedding receptions and family gatherings.
I know the specs, but I thought I better ask some smarter people than me what they think.
Is the 430EX worth the extra money over the 220EX? (James I obviously know you have some experience with the 220EX)
What have your experiences been with either flash?
Finally, does any one here use a diffuser? What type and how are the results?
