Damn, I thought I could make it more than 12 posts before I incurred the wrath that comes with making a mistake on this forum. Guess I better not skip page two next time.

I will now go cry myself to sleep.

Subway or Quiznos?

Quiznos no longer has three sizes. They ripped off the 6 and 12 inch from Subway in the last month.

huh?

Replacing bearings will only take you ~ 2 hours and $40 to do it yourself the first time. It just doesn't make sense to pay a shop to do this for you.

A complete over haul bike course will cost you about $110, where you learn, tune your bike and get free use of their tools. I would look into a course like this if you don't like waiting.

182 Days And Counting!

Anyone got a guess when the whole maountain will be built and running. I am coming out June 10th for a week, just wondering if the entire park is normally open at that point. Curious about Garbanzo in particular.

Fantastic crash video

Before you watch your friend do something really stupid, you should always ask yourself an important question.

Do I have a tripod?

Bar Plugs/caps/ends

In my case, I put in new ones, go riding for fifteen minutes, crash twice, and when I get home they are gone. This seems to work every time.

I ride swansea alot, and let me say, that gap is huge. Maybe Tdiddy has measured it, but I would guess you are looking at something around 15X30 feet, from a downhill ramp.

This is only the second picture I have ever seen off it. Can probably count all teh riders who have hit that gap on two hands.

Tdiddy derseves some serious props.

Hayes Replacement Brake Pad Options

I pretty much thought that might be the case. Never really had a problem with teh Hayes pads, so why change.

How is Swansea right now? I was going to ride there Easter weekend but it dumped on Saturday. I just ended up getting the bike tuned for the season instead.

Hayes Replacement Brake Pad Options

Just wondering what anyone uses for replacement pads for Hayes. Is there anything people like better than the basic stock pads?

Nike Air Whistler (Clever Name)

You can find them at Nikecycling.com, you have to click on the single MTB shoe, then other options come up.. I think it is the bottom left shoe.
