Its so great to see the NSMBA re-building some of the woodwork. Very nice job and so exciting to add that element back to the trails. I should leave work right now. What the hell am I still doing here?
This^ I was at the race yesterday and was very impressed by the level of support that the riders gave each other. Even the young guns were congratulating and bro-hugging each other after the race. Great scene and no attitude at all.
Was that Kicking Horse? Because the race conditions were nuts.
It would be nice to see more coverage of the events. DH racing has a fun sub culture and some talented athletes. Spending a weekend rippin' up a bike park and having a few beers after the race is pure summer fun. Riding with the other old ladies is treat.
I met a German couple on the chairlift today who had come to BC to ride DH trails. A little later I met a guy who got on a plane with an exploded appendix who suffered through it for a chance to ride the west coast. Mountain biking doesn't need a pretty bow on it to sell it to people.
The speed of the wife/lap connection is directly related to the didyouputyourshitaway variable. If yourshithasbeenputaway and the kitchen is free from obstacles, the wife/lap connection will speed up.
If you want to connect directly as soon as the pants open, you will need to replace the whatsfordinner with hereimadeyoudinner and if you add the the flowers and wine you will have access through multiple ports.
Don't forget, in colder weather its always good to keep wife primed with warm hands. In a smooth circular motion, place warm hand directly on wife until you hear a soft cooing. That's how you know wife is primed.
fuck you asshole.
Eat my ass Fucktress. :P
I forgive you, Syncro. I'm ornary at the best of times and not everyone gets what I say. I don't harbour any maliciousness towards you. Just so you know, my lights are angled down, on the low setting, strobes are for daylight. I no more ride a bike to annoy drivers than I have a cumvacuumsquiddlytwat.
PS, that is probably the best nasty word I have been called though, I'll have to write that down.
Waaaah, I got light in my eyes.
Its getting to be bloody CKNW in here some days.
I put a huge effort into being aware when commuting. No headphones, always keeping and eye on traffic around me and making sure I communicate while in traffic. I do have an FU attitude because I am essentially a naked little worm surround by metal death cans running at 60 kph withing 2 feet of me. If the people driving them don't see me, it doesn't matter how diligent I am, they will hit me.
I am pretty sure there are more recorded cases of " I didn't see the cyclist" vs " His lights blinded me and I hit him".
The amount of times I have nearly been killed riding in bike lanes, with high vis gear in broad daylight is the reason I have high lumen strobes. It sucks that it will annoy some people, but if it gets the attention of the dimwits diddling their cell phones, I get to stay alive another day.
500 lumens in the front and 200 in the back,if you arent pissed off by my lights, they arent doing thier job.
