I have been interested in Crank brothers pedals for a while but they have so many bad reviews all over the internet it has turned me off every time I consider them. This is promising and a good review. How does it feel when you are not clipped in?

If you are going to calculate the cost per unit you have to factor in many more variables than just material.

I have had a makerbot for 3 years. Its addicting but the fail rate and maintenance are quite high as well. The products get better and better every month. I have never tried a scanner. Its not a click, click, and be happy art. You have to mechanically inclined to problem solve and tune the machine and have lots of patience.

Currently printing a oil bottle holder for my bike stand that I designed.

Its a great hobby to keep you busy in the evenings and winter.

Well had my apart today and there is definitely more wear were the One up cog is. It not to serious as I have steel splines. I have been running this for more than a year.

I emailed One-up when I got mine and mentioned that the fit up to the hub was very loose but they said that was part of the design. Now that you mention it, it would seem that if it fit better to the splines there would be less chance of wearing out sooner and causing damage to the hub. I will have a look at mine someday soon.

Had that frame back in the late 90's was set up quite different. I had Marz double crown fork and a coil spring rear shock. I ended up breaking the frame. I am friends with the Brodie sales rep at the time. He said he would look into what he could do for me. Never heard back. I wish I would have kept it.
