When will these bikes be available to take home? End of March?

'Airbnb' of mountain biking... crazy? stupid?

So it's $3500/yr to join and, based on a per ride price of $175 (I used the Spokane offerings), that would mean just over 22 paid customers a year to break even on the fixed costs. Assume 2 riders per "tour", that's 11 days of paid service just to break even.

For the affiliates who have signed up already, how long does it take them to break even in the first year? How many leads do you generate for your affiliates, on average, per month?

Dreaming of an aggressive 29er for the North Shore and PNW

even when comparing the entry level YT Jeffsy carbon to the entry level carbon 29" Sight the price is stupid , the YT has a much better groupo for the same price , plus its 140mm

This x1000 … the spec differences on the Sight C9.2 vs the Jeffsy CF Pro Race are insane for only a $500 difference.

Dog Trainer

Here's one in PoCo .. http://www.pacificpaws.ca/

I use science-based positive reinforcement training and incorporate food, play, praise and life rewards to motivate your dog and reach your training goals.

2016 BC Property Assessment

it's happening now. 2 neighbours within a few blocks are new here from the LM in the last yr. Kamloops and the Okanagan is the same way. mass exodus it ain't but a slow trickle that will only steadily increase as people seek quality of life and affordability.

Ha … that's me and my family … moved to the CV in May. Love it and don't miss the mainland except for my old riding buddies, but the folks I've met here so far are friendly and there are shop rides a plenty. Trails are never busy like the Shore … quality of life is exponentially better. #topticked getting outta the mainland RE craziness.

As someone already posted, big issue is work. I was lucky enough to keep my mainland job and now work from home 100%.

I'm still here Al G. :fro:

Forum Changes

Something needs to change or everyone is just going to stop coming on here all together. Everyone I know has pretty much stop using the forums because of all the negativity. I feel like these forums have always been so informative, entertaining and engaging. It would be such a shame if one lame duck brings down the whole thing. I don't think paying would work, but linking your profile to your Facebook account would. Secondly, this isn't a democracy, it's a business and if I owned this website I would ban a couple users for sure. Eventually this guy is going to start effecting your pocketbook and why would you want that? I say trim the fat.

This 1000%

Like others, I don't come here much anymore. The content isn't as fresh or as good as other mtb sites, IMO. The forums are stale and, as others have stated, the BS posts are annoying. And I agree that this place is a business .. if Cam and crew don't care about this place (and it seems it's no longer a priority), then it will eventually die, and that might be fine with them. Milk the cash cow as long as you can without putting in the effort … good for you, it was a good run.

As for paying, not me … it's not worth it for what it has become and what it offers.

The Decline of Vancouver.

Did I get any new services, hell no.

Don't complain … you get to fund the measures to fight the fentanyl crisis on the DTES. That's a new service. ;)

The Decline of Vancouver.

They keep finding new ways to appease their biggest party donors.

This +10000000

This announcement is a combination of a few things … the confirmation that BC's GDP is in large part driven by real estate and construction, that the Liberal party donors call the shots, and that there's an election coming up next spring.

The Evil Thread

Haven't done back to back yet. Nobody sells Evil in Canada.

I know this comment is old, but Beaufort Bikes in Cumberland are now carrying Evil. They have an Insurgent in stock and say they are getting a few demos in this spring/summer.
