do the big loop!

cross border at sumas, travel up highway 5 to kamloops, hit sun peaks, continue up hwy 5 to wells gray park, great place to camp and hike, travel up to valemount and over to Jasper, hike camp till hearts content, leave jasper and head to lake louise, head over to golden, ride kicking horse, camp and hike in glacier national park, travel down to vernon, optional day at silver star (great park), travel down through okanagan, stop at winery, great camping all over, travel down to keremeos , hike camp at Cathedral provincial park, travel over to Manning Park hike camp. Back to sumas and cross over back into the chaos.

would make an Epic trip, wish i could go!

Scaphoid wrist break

i have a buddy who broke his. After it healed he broke once or twice more quiet easily. He ended up getting bone graft from his hip. That seems to have fixed it but it was a long recovery.

Buying a car

did you have a look at the subaru impreza? we bought one last year after looking at similar cars to what you have looked at and can say we have no complaints. As for the buying process we just knocked 5% of their offer and they accepted. we were happy.

Trek To Sell Direct To Customer

i think the writing has been on the wall for awhile that the whole support your local shop thing isn't working. I think this allows shops to concentrate on service, where they can make money and still be associated with a recognizable brand.

82 SHOT , 14 DEAD IN US!

I suggest we pony up and take on the massive undertaking. Its not a bunch of middle class suburban people shooting each other. Its poor people or crazy people, lets start there.

Canada has problems, UK, Austrailia, all have problems. There are what, over 360 million people in the US, yes there are more problems there.

And in the meantime? Just let Smith and Wesson sort em out?

Yes, you limit guns and people will use knives. Look at the issues they are having in the UK - crime has significantly gone up as gun control was tightened. Even the FBI Director doesn't have any issues with CCW: http://dailycaller.com/2015/03/26/fbi-director-testifies-hes-never-had-problems-with-concealed-carriers-video/

Fixing the social issues is what needs to happen. But hey, the rich get richer, the rest of us play along.

Not near the same kind of problems that they are having in the states. knifes don't miss their target and kill seven year old boys as we saw in Chicago this weekend. Ever hear about drive by knifings nah neither have i. Guns are so impersonal and to do damn effective, knifes are not.

You are 100% right.

You've taken an aspirin and your headache is gone. What caused this headache?

For 10 years you take an aspirin every time you get a headache but they still keep coming…

Turns out there was a bigger problem, and instead of fixing it and dealing with the initial expense and effort you were content to just treat the symptom since that was easier and cheaper.

We both know where this go's. If only we treated the real problem.

Wrong.

the rest of the developed world has taken this approach and they are far from simmering powder kegs ready to go explode and destroy society.

You are always going to have people with violent tendencies and the disenfranchised who see violence as a way to get ahead. Limit their ability to inflict harm and everybody is better off. Limiting gun access is most efficient way to do this. Law enforcement and prisons don't seem to be a deterrent and though they are worthy goals, elevating the poor and tackling mental illness are massive undertaking.

So what do you suggest?

Custom painted helmets?

when i was i kid and into motocross racing a friend mines dad owned custom paint shop and and would always paint are new helmets. They would look great in the beginning but halfway through the season would be all chipped and paint cracked. Maybe Troy Lee has some better techniques to mitigate that but i would suggest a solid coloured helmet and custom decals would be much more durable and probably cheaper. If you want to get wild there is a technique called hydro wrapping that can make some pretty cool looking designs. I suggest you google it.
