B.C. Info

I've got a season's supply of Mr.Noodles and a pup tent with a large costco sleeping bad you two will have to share.

I may be able to swing a bunch of coupon's for riding and rentals.

I may be able to get a pair of reinforced tricylces with powerwheels suspension.

That should do the trick.

2 months + 2 people + taxes = $8,913.74 (UK british pounds payable upon arrival)

the hardest part of riding

80% mental

20% physical

I have seen a 67 yr old grampa who could barely pedal uphill only stop 4 times down clownshoes and didn't have a problem with the skinnies.

On the same ride, his grandson who is only 13 was falling off all the skinnies and flailing everywhere.

Grampa = physically out of shape, barely breaths out of one lung.

Grandson = physically tip top shape. Runs 5km every night with dad and swims/rides every second day.

Constantly, just like other sports (surfing, motox, skateboarding).. the mental aspect is always there.

Practice and dex. skills is in your head based on experience.

That is mental. Not physical.

When your brain knows what to do, your body follows.

80 % mental

20 % physical

make the lift tickets cheaper

Get a job.

The passes are cheap compared to the winter season.

They're even cheaper considering what you get out of a 10-8pm day riding on a mountain where people from around world just dream of coming to and it's in our own backyard.

B.C. Info

Cheers for all the advice on accomadation lads, but I'm also looking for other places to ride in and around the Whistler Area, basically the plan is to get as much and as varied a riding experienceas possible (all gravity of course). Would all this be provided in the whisler Blackcomb area or would you guys recommend other places, like Kelowna, Kamloops, Nelson? I'd like to do a bit of travelling around to different spoits just to get the full B.C. experience. I'm not asking for the location of secret trails or anything just enough to get a full impression of what B.C. has to offer.

Cheers,

Tristan

You do realize that's probably the most dangerous part of the mountain right? Ever looked on the other side of that berm? It's a fall to your death..

At the very least, a grom should sweep that berm once a week. I don't think whistler realizes how dangerous it is. All it will take is one person going over it to change their mind though..

Maybe I should do it with full armor just for shits and giggles. :agree:
