Re: The Age of the Mk2 Human... [Goofy thoughts while walking around Toronto]...

As you age, you start to think how many quality years you have left. You can always make more money, but you cannot make more time. My 90 year old Dad has always said "They can't bury you if you're moving", so keep moving and stay active, people. Give the electronics a rest, go for a walk & breathe in the fresh air.

Whenever there's a power outage I always laugh how folks sit around & stare into space. No idea what to do without electricity. Go for a walk, play a game, read a book, chop some wood etc. All the old skills are fading. Good luck with your mom, VikB.

Re: Home Appliances

Both the dude where I buy my appliance repair parts & the salesman at the appliance store (honest guy) told me to keep fixing my old washing machine instead of buying new. The new ones are not half of what the old ones are.

Stoked for Alonso to get that podium. He deserved his driver of the day award. The Qatar circuit looks to be tough on tires.

Re: 2018 F1 thread.

The list is long of drivers who were wingmen / played second fiddle. Massa & Barrichello with Schumi, Webber with Vettel etc. It's a hard job. Although the 2 drivers are in the same car, there is no doubt the number 1 driver gets the best of everything.

Re: 2018 F1 thread.

He had a new engine in the fastest car on the grid, he should do well. But I guess that doesn't explain Bottas shitting the bed frequently.

Glad to see Ferrari grabbing a bigger hold of third place in the constructor's standings. Let's hope they can keep it.

They should bring Kimi onto the podium after his last race in Abu Dhabi.

Re: first world problems

So much rain my back yard is like a swamp. It's wetter than a nun doing squats in a cucumber patch.

Re: Remembrance Day?

Good to see a nice turn out at our local cenotaph today. Also good to see young families in attendance. Lest we forget.
