Stoked for Alonso to get that podium. He deserved his driver of the day award. The Qatar circuit looks to be tough on tires.

Re: 2018 F1 thread.

The list is long of drivers who were wingmen / played second fiddle. Massa & Barrichello with Schumi, Webber with Vettel etc. It's a hard job. Although the 2 drivers are in the same car, there is no doubt the number 1 driver gets the best of everything.

Re: 2018 F1 thread.

He had a new engine in the fastest car on the grid, he should do well. But I guess that doesn't explain Bottas shitting the bed frequently.

Glad to see Ferrari grabbing a bigger hold of third place in the constructor's standings. Let's hope they can keep it.

They should bring Kimi onto the podium after his last race in Abu Dhabi.

So much rain my back yard is like a swamp. It's wetter than a nun doing squats in a cucumber patch.

Re: Remembrance Day?

Good to see a nice turn out at our local cenotaph today. Also good to see young families in attendance. Lest we forget.

Re: High prices?

Tungsten, can you explain to us how & why socialism in the Scandinavian countries works so well? There are rich folks over there too, but I don't think them acquiring their wealth is bad for the state. Unlike Bezos.

Re: Climate Change - so I'm starting to panic a bit

I think I recall reading that styrofoam doesn't take that much energy to produce. Maybe that is part of the problem.

If there wasn't a market for all that junk, it would not have to be shipped.
