Free Trade with China

Jesus, this political puppet is really dropping the ball on us. First the approval of Petronas LNG plant construction and development and now, Kinder Morgan is up next on the batting cage.

And now a China free trade agreement? Is Trudeau out of his fuck'n mind? US economy has already bent over to China for massive theft in intellectual property because their patent rights don't apply there. We've also whore'd off our land to "Chinese investors" and completely ruined our RE market for a lot of us.

China:
What other precious resources will Canada whore off to us? Let me think for a sec? Oh I know! How about a shit ton of forestry and fresh water?!

No need for low-rise wooden frame condos anymore. We can now built soaring towers out of wood that's cheaper and faster than conventional concrete and steel! Let's rape Canada's natural resources, build a fuck load of shitty condos with it that no one's going to live in, and artificially boost our GDP growth even higher!

We'll tap off Canada's fresh clean water as a thank you tip for them to feed our hard working construction workers so we can make a trillionaires of dollars.

Oh.. haha. "trillionaire" showed up as a grammar error on my spell check. But don't worry. Soon enough, it'll be part of the Webster dictionary to define one of Canada's biggest failures in history… ha. ha. ha…

China really likes our coal, so much that they own most of Teck.

Cranbrook is booming right now. Construction values 4x last year.

Lots of sun, all the amenities you need and 3 hrs to white fish/Kalispell.

All surounding towns have great riding.

Most pedal-able knee armour?

While we're on the topic here…

Just got my wife a killer new steed and she loves it. She's petite, 5'4" but super athletic and in awesome shape. Sports some gorgeous legs too (no pics, fawgettabadit!! LOL).

Wait… Drifted for a second there, forgot what I was posting. OH, RIGHT… Okay, so anyone out there know of decent shin/knee protection combos/brands that are good for chicks?? She's kinda leaning towards the G-Force slip-ons - anyone out there assist their betties with the fitment and function of good protection without added weight, bulk or discomfort??

Hit me up PM not to clutter the board. Or post it here, care not - I just get a sense this is a pretty manly forum so manly things take precedent over asking about womens wear :cougar:

Peace Homies
Dirtier Than You Can Imagine, Le Sanch

Been using g form pads for years. First pair lasted 3 years before the stiching pulled out. Mostly from pulling them on. Size large was a bit small, second pair is xl and much better for my chicken legs.

They are very comfortable, wear them sledding ,sking touring xc….. put em on and forget about them.

What companies off proper MTB tours like Sacred Rides?

I would ask what ever tour company you go with what they do for the trails they are taking you on.

Do they help with maintenance, pay a fee or just poach the trails for profit….

gotta give a shout out to jon at columbia cycle in invermere, the guy is a suspension guru.

was riding with him on the weekend in revy and he tuned all the bikes for us in the am at the campsite so we'd have a stellar day!

Revelstoke 2012

back at revy this weekend, rode keystone standard sat in blue bird 20+c weather on Sat outstanding trail with perfect conditions, then over to mcp. for a quick lap on dusty beaver to flow down. super fun.

today was a frisby ridge day and I'm still giggling about it…. 12 km of downhill pump track! hehe, we had prime conditions with a sprinkle at the top. groups going up when we were coming down got caught in some bad weather and came down pretty dirty.

i guess timing is everything in revy.

Yup, same company.

Condos are 30% occupied in the summer, restaraunts(2) are empty except for lunch(that's what happens when you develope a resort where all condos have full kitchens). Every aspect of the resort's summer operation is losing except bike park.
Sad to see a resort with huge potential falling on its face.
You know it's bad when local bikers are buying seasons passes at kicking horse.

Golfers tend to stay in fancy hotels and eat at expenisve restaraunts.
Bikers tent and eat bologna sandwiches.

to me it doesn't matter how much people spend, it's how much $ there is on the table when the games over…. so far bike the bike park has been winning the pot but the dealer in the corner office controls the game and he's stacking the odds against the park!

the bike park staff over the years at pano has put blood sweat and tears into the park only to be kicked in the nuts by senior management year after year, this year takes the cake!

can ya tell i'm a bit bitter???LOL

yup, a so called cost saving method. .

same issue for some friends who have come out for a week every year for many years. they came out without realizing the new hrs and were really not happy. they will not be coming back.

funny how the golf course loses money every yr but they continually open earlier, stay open longer and dump big money into it. the bike park makes money, but every yr since 2005 they have cut back on staff and hrs of operation

seems like someone at the top does not want biking at the resort, it must cut into summer holiday time????
