I installed a corset sleeve on an rp23.

You'll add a lot more air spring pressure to get the sag needed.

I also had the boost valve pressure increased for more compression damping throughout. It felt very underdamped without. And had the strongest low speed spring installed on the climb switch just to make it work again.

The corset is a great thing for mid stroke support and initial breakaway. But expect to retune your low and high speed compressions for best results.

Dude!! I've been a few times and I have a suggestion! Do some mellow loop with your wife, then go ride highline one day and hangover the next. You can't go to Sedona without riding these two trails! Send your wife to the spa while you're out!!!! Win win!

So I'm getting pretty excited planning a trip to Phoenix with a day or 2 in Sedona.

I'll have a half day to ride south mountain in Phoenix and will probably just ask the rental shop for a trail suggestion.

Now, can anybody recommend an easyish but still nice loop in Sedona? The wife's coming along and she's a green/blue run girl. Maybe a few hours or so? I've seen some promising loops on singletracks (13 mile mescal trail loop) but wondering if anybody's got any experienced suggestions. Also is there typically cell phone coverage out there for emergencies?

Tried them all, steel and alloy versions, 40 and 42 tooth versions. They work well with a 10spd Sram RD or a Rad/Rad'r cage equipped 10spd Shimano RD. That last point is key: you need a Rad / Rad'r cage with a Shimano RD.

Agreed. I have the 11-42 with an xt with radr cage. Shifts through the range really well. Not as silky smooth up and down as my old one up converted SLX cassette. Downshifts feel really close, but up shifts clunk into place. I've heard it smooths out after several rides. I'm hoping so. But works well enough. Shifts are as quick as before, just clunky.
