Re: How many times you visit the hospital after a ride?

Way too many times, it hurts my Brain to think about it.

Re: bitcoin

So what about Dogecoin? Too late to get in? It's difficult to buy right now, as it's not that popular. What are your thoughts...

Re: Mid-size truck (Tacoma, etc.) - short bed or long bed?

Posted by: Adam-West

Short beds more than enough room for me.. I'd rather have the 4 doors than the extra box space cause I don't need to haul that much crap.. and the 4 door long box just looks too long and cumbersome.

This is the same for me. I max out my bed less than %5 of the time I drive the truck. Nissan Frontier CC PRO4x.

Re: light truck tires of the all terrain flavour

I had a set of Nokian Rotiva AT tires. Not the plus they didn't make them at the time. They were a good tire, not great though, I expected better winter performance out of them. My Goodyear duratracs are better in the winter, but I drive a different truck now (Ford Sport track- Nokian vs Nissan Frontier -Duratrac). The Nokian were quieter, and way better in the rain. My next tire will probably be Falken Wildpeaks AT3W as I want a quieter tire, but I still want the winter rated tire so that narrows down the list for me.

Re: Your top ten must do rides for this season

*Warning road bike related goals included*

Canada Day Populaire

Mt Baker from Abbotsford

Okanogan ride , Twin lakes/ Apex mountain Loop

Just bought a Gravel/Cyclocross bike so I'm going to have to create some rides for that. Maybe one of the local Gravel Fondo's ... maybe.

Get back on Mountain bike and sort out lowerback pain issues if possible. Any type of ridding would be good!

Re: Own a Road Bike?

Ended up with a Cannondale Synapse disc. Nearly went with a Trek Domane which is a very similar bike, but the Cannondale was neon red. 😮

Running 28c tires on it now, lots of arch room for bigger tires. When these wear I'll likely mount up some proper 32c gravel tires.

Pictures please

The grossest thing in American society is the reactionary sentimentality that fill our gossip infected hearts with a chemical reaction every time one of our supposed war heroes moves on to a more peaceful place.

If McCain was just a war hero nobody would have noticed his passing.  He was a permanent fixture in American politics and was respected even by his adversaries because he was willing to sit down and work with them.  Was he a hawk?  Yes.  Did I agree with him?  Rarely.  But is ridiculous to hang America's war lust around McCain's neck and what America needs today is more McCains in the GOP.

Ok now you're just trolling a few/two of us right?

Sadly you're not it would seem. Lets see:

He personally delivered the Steele dossier.

Pictures with ISIS overseas.

Was an a-typical GOP member before Trump's winning(s) and then basically became a Democrat out of pure spite. Obamacare vote ya?

Weren't you for term limits? The last thing America needs in general are even more politically divisive people like McCain, Waters and Pelosi in the forefront of their political theater.

And just to stay on topic:

Trump is still the better option.

"Trump is still the better option"   That's one way to look at it for sure.

Re: snow tires (Merged Thread)

Dedicated winters?  Id consider opting for some 'All-Weather' (not All-Season) tires and call it a day especially if your current all season are near the end of their life.  The ones I have had on my truck have been awesome.  Had the Nokian Rotiiva's last time, and opted for some BF Goodrich KO2 this time.  You wouldnt need something like the BF's on your Volvo, but the Nokians were great.

I had the same experience with my Nokian all weathers on my truck as well, good tire and didn't wear out fast.

Depends on what side of the island you live on. Crater faces one way.

Through the years I've always held some hope I was wrong and those proffering the status quo were somehow right.

That said, my position has only further crystallized.

You are all Trump.  You being all who have a 'net-worth'.  Next time you disparage him, look in the mirror.

Patriotism only works when those who have something to lose do so for their country.  Otherwise, you're a pathetic shill.

This is such a load of shit I had to quote it for posterity.
