Is it faster to roost? Or is roost some indicator of speed? I certainly don't see much on the world cup footage.

If not, why is it "cool"? Is it just visually interesting? Is it wrapped up with the language?

I would be careful of gloves. The wrong cut or size for your hand will leave bunched-up glove between your hand and the handle-bars, which is not only uncomfortable, but reduces your grip on the bars.

Regarding Roach, I still wear my hard shell pads, she made great gear for sure.

Hi Folks,

Had to replace my MEC rain pants i use to commute, because I got too fat for them. Now the only size that fits is far too long in the leg, and will require hemming.

The problem I see is the waterproof zipper on the leg, it will need to be terminated correctly.

Do you know of an alterations place that could be trusted with that?

Also, if this is no big deal, let me know, my sewing knowledge is limited.

Hey everyone,

My Dad and I are heading down to Bend for the 23rd - 30th of September. We went to Moab in spring of 08 and 09, but it's time for a change.

Neither of us are into anything too crazy. Even I am old enough to really enjoy cross-country again. Climb + descent is right up our alley as well. If you know of anything worth checking out, please let me know. We haven't done much research yet (lots of time left… :rolleyes:), so if you know of any good information resources, that would be helpful too.
