Add Block+ any downside?

I use it (ABP) after more than one forum/site I visit had their ad service compromised (this site was one of them)and infected my system with malware.

Only downside I have experienced is a short delay playing Youtube videos that normally have ad content at the start.

How is this any better than just keeping this info yourself? You are transferring the info to someone else, what happens if they go out of business? or a server crashes and their backups fail? Do they even back up the data?

VPN's

Deleting trackers has nothing to do with your vpn

Deleting "trackers" also does nothing to protect you/make you anonymous.

Jian Ghomeshi & CBC no longer

Yep, doesn't make him any less of a scumbag. Still has to face another trial in June as well. Hopefully the Crown/witnesses learn from this mess.

With how public this has all been it isn't likely he will regain his past stature in society anyway.

12 million views can't be wrong. Kinda bike related though.

Ok so rap/hiphop with an aussie accent if freakin hilarious. Kept waiting to hear "throw a shrimp on the barbie" in there.

let's get shallow for a minute (fashion jeans thread...)

Is "raw denim" that you can't wash for a year still a thing?

ethically produced meat...

The "priest cow" and playing music is hippy dippy marketing wank to make people with more money than sense feel good about themselves.

Ethical production is hard work, and one of the biggest barriers is the stranglehold the marketing boards have on quotas. The big factory farms run the marketing boards, and very tightly limit who can grow/sell those products. Any hint of competition from a new market sector (as in ethical production) and they do everything they can to shut it down to protect their monopoly, while hiding behind the quotas and regulations they created themselves.

Snowmobiler who thought no bent over trees meant safe zone for a hill climb braap.

Holy crap that video is terrifying. If he was going any slower he would have been in it for sure. Hopefully he doesn't think luck/speed will save him next time and gets some education.

Hotter than your mom...

Exactly. How can the big corporations make money off of this?

By marketing/selling everyone "Mr-Fusion" devices of course.

Hotter than your mom...

;)Did nobody pay attention to the storyline in Halflife? This is how we are going to get headcrabs running around everywhere! ;)

On a more serious note, hopefully they pull it off successfully and send us into a new era of power generation.

Tankless Water Heater

I do believe the gas tankless heaters require yearly servicing as well (at least they did, maybe not now) so you need to factor that cost in as well.

Here are a bunch of threads on another forum going back to 2009 about tankless HW heaters.

geeks: page fault in non paged area

You obviously have access to another PC (crap, hopefully not just a phone/tab)

http://www.memtest.org/#downiso

Pick one from the list that works for you and burn a cd or copy to a stick.

Boot from it and let it test the memory in the system. This will hopefully give you some idea what is going on to start with.

As well, before you do this, pull everything not necessary for the system to boot out, you want to start with the most basic hardware possible, and if it boots (posts in some cases) shut down and add another piece of hardware till you find what is bad.

Stuck DVD in drive

Maybe you need to rewind it first?

Seriously though, in the OP you said it is a multidisk player? As in holds more than 1 disk at a time? If so you will likely have to open it up.

I had an old carousel cd player that the slightest bump would make the disks slip out and jam the thing.
