What a sick feeling I have in my stomach reading this. Admitting to DNV council years ago that he was destroying structures and none of them thought to be concerned that this may put others in danger. I echo others comments that this hopefully finds its way to the police/crown prosecutor to show the mindset of these people.

The weakest link in the chain is almost always the human sitting at the computer.  Got the panicked call from a client Monday at lunchtime.  "All of our documents have weird icons, someone admitted to opening an attachment to a spam email"  The spam slipped through the filter, it looked like an invoice, and the finance person opened it.

150Gb of data borked. About 2 hours to restore from backup, 1/2 a day of work lost for some of their users, and 2 computers to nuke and reinstall.  It could have been much worse.

People have issues figuring out how to mark a ballot when they have to make only 1 choice, what will it be like when you have to mark 2nd and 3rd preferences for a ranked ballot? Make it any more complicated and people will just give up and not waste their time.  I'm not a fan of FPTP, but it is simple and easy to work with for the common voter.

You think not saving that info at the time of purchase makes a difference?

Heh, any card I would have used with them is long expired, but there are still my personal details in the wind somewhere.

I miss living in the mountains, but I am glad I got out of Whistler when I did (2001).  I knew I would never be able to afford to own property there, or even in pemby.  I thought things were crazy when I left, and it has only gotten worse.

Watched Smokin Aces and Hardcore Henry the other night.  Thought smokin aces was great, pretty surprised to see Ryan Renolds.

Hardcore Henry was OK, was an interesting concept, but I actually got bored.  Too much of the same thing over and over.
