Steve Smith passed away? Is this real?

Gone too soon. Speechless.

Hey Neighbour: Sterling Lorence

Third to last pic is one of the most memorable pics I've seen from the Shore and an absolute fav.

Austria?

Actually we're right now getting hit by a low from the Mediterranean which usually brings snow big time on north- and southside of the Alps and beefs up the little snow pack we got. At the very moment it's even snowing at most eastern foothills of the Alps.

2CH, where are you gonna stay?
Tirol, Vorarlberg: go Montafon, St.Anton
Salzburg: Obertauern, Zauchensee

MFD Ski Binding

The flex shouldn't be an issue. If the ski bends, the stress is on the heel piece.
The pivot is placed fairly ahead, which makes a not so ergonomic walking mode, compared to Fritschis or Markers.

Why use one of these compared to Marker Dukes or Fritshi?

This setup may be burlier on freakin huge cliffs, but it's pivot wouldn't motivate me for hour long ascents I guess.
So for small climbs now and then, to access knee-jamming-huge drops, I'd choose that over a marker. Other than that Marker/Fritschi/Dynafit suits better as touring setups. Those combos cope with drops as well (some modification might be needed), but not as high and often as on a proper Alpine binding.

Yes!

Reminds me a lot of the old Kranked films.

Dry day on CBC.

Awesome perspective with the sideway mount. Gives you a much better angle for technical trails. Especially the Ladies Only clips!

2011 Rocky Slayer - ridden and sniffed by Dan

I had to rub my eyes. I have the same bike, same helmet and the same camelbak. Awesome!
Still rockin' with the Slayer occasionally.

I'm eager how the new one rides. Interesting that the last years linkage has been replaced with a fairly common design.
