2010/11 Seymour Snow Line?

Sorry if this is off topic, I was curious if there is still a shuttle service operating in North Van. In a few weeks I would like to come down with a few friends and do a day at Seymour. No camps or tours just shuttle service. Do they operate this early in the year?

Thanks

Nanaimo BC Cup DH

Hey there, Any suggestions for good tires to run there if we are racing in rain/ mud… I have never ridden there but from the videos the course seems pedally with some roots. So I am guessing spikes would not be the answer? any suggestions of what the locals run there in the wet.

Greatly appreciated

This looks fun!

Ya this inline is totally gay! I would much rather put on some spandex, get out my high seat, long stem bike and climb to the top of some mountain… eat some granola and chew down other peoples sports. Ya high risk spinning tricks in baggy clothes checking out hot chix, and chilling in down town Paris that is way more gay for sure.

you're landing on cement with your ankles/ legs taking the full impact?

Wooow, sorry I did not mean to swear in that last comment … I just re-read that. I am too used to typig to friends on Crackbook. Sorry bout that.

Ya, that is true the flat landings are pretty harsh.

I used to street skate (inline) and that looks like fun….flying down sidewalks and roads swerving all over is fun…but that said…I wouldnt do it again, it's really hard on your body….but longboards look like a shitton of fun.

How the heck is fruit booting hard on your body? Other than slamming the ground, if you have the skating basics down its pretty mellow on your body joints.

What are the chances

i'd buy that .243 racing frame on the last page .. you dont really need disc brakes for racing DH, it's all marketing hype. Same as rear suspension, you got legs. Huck to flat less, ride more.

clay porter's new film the tipping point TEASER

If the footage is anything like the yeti promo vids throughout the year, it will be very good. I think a different narration or commentary other than the "it's just us against the clock" again and how awesome and tough dh is would have helped. Looks like it's largely similar in that respect to the last one. Why not more riders talking about training, more story lines, equipment setup, how they feel about different tracks, other than the generic beating the clock comments. We get it, dh is awesome, now tell us something with more content.

realy good points, that would make a super good dh vid, if they had all that content in there.

Honestly, that made the intro look so unprofessional.

You don't see swearing in motion picture trailers because they have to be created for a larger audience and shown on tv, and on the begining of other dvd's …. But this trailer is for showing on the internet which is unregulated and kind of comparable more to satellite radio or something. I thought that statement was gnar in the trailer and got me stoked! :rocker: Look at the cursing inside of most major motion pictures and such, this is not that bad. I thought the filming was really crisp, sharp, and totally dialed, I like the look of his new shooting. I am more than stoked.
