Fancy pants

This reminds me of when Jeremy had his Volvo wagon windows smashed with a big rock and all they took was his dirty pants. I know I don't leave anything in my car, but it would still suck to have to deal with a smashed window, especially if it was later and raining. Seriously, if you want money, just wash our bikes and lube em up after,
might be safer too. I can only assume what would happen if a bunch of armoured bikers, just finishing an adrenaline ride would do if they caught "them" even looking in the windows from this point on….

Re: "5 cars got their windows smashed at the mushroom lot tonight. Seemed more like a vandal, as they didn't take anything. Only one car had their stuff rooted through.

One truck had 2 windows smashed."

Okay, now someone has to take the time to work on this trail network next! I would like to know if anyone is up for hiking up and trying to repair at least a few of the A frames and fill in some of the gouges that have become way worse ovver the last year. Any takers? Drop a line via email ; lolathekona@hotmail.com

Second note. Trash….sick of picking up bike parts and tubes left on trees and branches- people trail gods will beat you down for violating the sacred earth of tuft and soil with your rubbers and plastics ! Pick up what you see- there is always a trash can at the bottom parking lot.

Can anyone tell me the actual happenings of why it got chained up? All i know is some kid broke is arm and his dad got pissed and called the parks due to his frustration of being a lazy father not partaking in his childs interests- er i mean he was just an angy man who needed to vent on someone…like i said, i am vague on the news.

Read? Wow, that's the first thing I've ever seen on this site that did not involve Boarding, biking or drinking! Cheers to literacy! ;)

ATTN: North Van riders

Dude, make your life easier, just call up the Bushpilot! He'll take you on a tour, show you all the local trails and offer advice if you want some. True you have to pay, but he has a big ass van to carry you, your mates and your bikes, and if you're REALLY nice, maybe he'll cook you guys some food after the rides!

Bush Pilot is located in Deepest Darkest North Shore; Deep Cove.

Good luck, and yes, Whistler is fun, but you can't beat the diversity of the big three!

car or video camera?

First off.

Winnipeg is not that bad. I had many years of fun there, if you want gravity then yes you have to leave, no point racing the egos of those st.Vital "elite" racers who own 5000 dollar bikes and never get them dirty! Wicked place to race XC since grass fields are harder to ride than mountains believe it or not, everytime i come back there i have to re adjust myself thinking it will be easy as pie! Second, a car is kinda needed put there if you race, as every major race is at least 4o minutes away. Have you raced in manitoba? Try that before you moe out here, it gets you in the mode of the biker, although i warn you about the egos there,…out here it 's about the ride more than parts, but egos are everywhere. Try Grand beach for a good set of trails, winter riding is good there too, although i hear they mad all the good river trails flat after the pan ams. Go talk to Tim Woodcock and enter the Ice bike race he has everyyear- they are things you can do there you just can't do here, and trust me, if you move to bc, be it kamloops, Whistler or Vancouver, having the skills to ride through all the stuff winnipeg gets will kick ass out here. (most don't ride if it gets below 0

New to Cove

well not your fault anyway, it was his first time riding the log, and it was especially cold that day with freezing rain, so he slipped in the open sky section, front tire went down, placed his foot out to catch his fall and shhlop! His bone broke and popped out, then he smacked into the tree face first and went flying onto the ground….and stayed down. We found him right after it happened. Hey, if anyone heres about this from some guy who "lent" his sweater for the cuase to keep him warm, let me know, i still have his sweater lingering around here all washed and ready for him.

Chris, so you know, it wasn't anythng you built, or didn't build that cuased the accident. See you on the 26th!!!

Trail Nazi Evidence/Discusstion

Not to be blunt, er well i guess i'm going to be. A few years ago i was riding witha friend in Kamloops and we pulled around a corner and just before we got to close to this gat that is always open, i noticed a wire plled across it, i yelled to my friend who swerved hard and flew down the side creating a huge dust cloud (loops of fury!). well he emerged with his shoulder out of it's socket. to this day his shoulder pops out at random moments and he barely can ride urban or lung due to the fear of having 4 weeks out everytime it pops. So if i ever catch a trail Nazi, sorry to say but those spiked logs you so casually throw down for us, will cover you like a lipstick, and what a nice shade it will be. On top of that i just might carve "trail Nazi" on your head too!

but really, why must we have to get to this pint, nature was intended to be enjoyed, not fought over!
