Meh...bought me a chev 1 ton diesel, yeah I tow stuff.. 11.7 per 100 km around town and i can still tow a trailer.bone stock except for a small lift and 35"s

(Yes it actually goes off road...)

Couldn't even consider the toys you guys are talking about.

Well these trucks ain't for you in the first place.. we ain't interested in towing shit, just need clearance and functiality to get to the best camp spots.

Re: modern trucks and the tacoma mystique

The new taco isn't even that good, a 3.6 that makes all it's power at like 6 thousand rpm, and a transmission that doesn't have a clue what it wants to do, drum brakes in the back lmao. They do look cool though, but I just don't see the value in the truck compared to what you'd pay for an equal frontier, it's all just Toyota tax based on the hype of previous models. I do like the new 4 runners though.

Meanwhile Ford introduces the new ranger.. and it looks awfully like the Honda Ridgeline.. gee I wonder why that ain't selling well.

I like the Colorado zr2 but even it is kinda dorky looking, at least it seems somewhat capable.

I'm not holding my breath for the new frontier, from what I've heard they're really hyped up on throwing more technology into it. Which probably means theyll more electro gizmos that nobodies actually asking for.

Id have a raptor in a heartbeat even if it is a Ford.

I've basically decided that most public comments on Facebook rant and raves and articles etc are paid Russian trolls.

Funny how the birthplace of the NDP now votes 90% conservative.

I guess that's what oil will do to a people.

And now that they don't get their way, they immediately want to leave. Funny how they're acting a whole lot like the entitled snowflakes they so love to hate.
