Re: Economic Crash Cycles - ~10 years apart, 3 times now

pretty fuckin obvious.. recessions are just another way for the ruling class to buy up cheap assets/ get corporate welfare in the form of bailouts and otherwise just keep being the real leeches of society while taking money from the poor to give to themselves.

Trump wants packed churches for Easter.  He is truly stupid.  That doesn't even help the economy if that is his argument.

Re: What is to come from COVID-19

I really hope this serves as a wake up call for things like universal basic income, taking better care of our planet, working from home, and perhaps the greatest realization for many that the economy is normal people doing normal people things. so the less the dragons can horde and sit on their wealth and them more money regular folks get to spread around the better off we'll all be. there's no reason to revert back to propping up the same system that got us to this point.

Re: Whats your brightside POV from COVID?

The Venice canals cleaning up and having porpoises swimming through em in the absence of all the tourists is probably the best metaphor to come out of all this..

Maybe as the remnants of our capitalistic constraints we've shackled ourselves with crumble, a better system will be built on the other side.. or it's all going to mad Max.  Definitely that one

Rage postponed, Tool postponed for now too.

I heard August for Rage at the earliest.

I don't see anywhere where tool postponed

Sorry, postponed if we keep our 250+ gatherings a no-go.  I read they were watching and reacting as the days went on.

Yea, well here's hoping they keep the date cause I'm actually off shift at that time.
