Thanks for the detailed reply Penny!  I haven’t tried Trees shorts but do have a few pair of sombrio. I’d say the sizing on the wild rye is similar to Sombrio, and stretchy, but they don’t bag out as much as I find the sombrio shorts do.  

The waist on the Wild Rye is not stretchy, but the rest of the short is. So the waist is definitely the more key of the measurements.  I found the waist fit generously so a person who’s waist is similar to smaller than their hips would be okay with the waist.  For a body shape that is a larger waist and smaller hips, the measurement to base sizing on would be the waist! 

Also I think your hair would look great with fun shorts :)

Agreed!  There’s lots of good things happening out there but there is always room for more :)

That’s great feedback for the event organizers - there was an article about the future event in NSMB a while back but they may need to expand their advertising a bit!

I haven’t seen an explanation but to me it looks like the Jackal has a bit more ventilation (larger brow ports), an integrated go-pro mount and instead of the one vertical adjustment at the back it has two. Materials and weight listed as specs are the same for the two models, but the imagery on the Jackal shows a joint around the helmet that could indicate different construction methods. I don’t see any details about that on Lazer’s product page.   

Regardless it’s great you’ve found a helmet that fits you and you feel good wearing. If, like me, you don’t duck quite  enough one day you can give the Coyote a go ;)

I like colours too Kos, but for me usually more in my clothes or socks!  There is a kind of fun purple, neon yellow and white fade version of this helmet you might dig. It’s not exactly what I think you are describing, but it’s fun!

That's great to hear. The vent design on the Jackal and the Coyote are very similar so that should translate over :)  Thanks for sharing your experience!
