SNOWLINE TIME!!!!

5 year old setup going strong. Next year, a snowbike setup maybe. Anyone ride these things?

I ride one but not a fancy Carbon fiber yeti skid. switched over from a sled and loving it, but im a moto riding redneck. I need to find someone who has one who wants to do some bike accessed ski touring. I have found some amazing zones you can access on a snowbike.

Dynastar Chams 97 with beast 14s and going to try some Blizzard Zero G's for bigger days when im non rednecking it.

gps anti theft tracking device for bikes

Anybody using one.I see there are a few devices out there that would be applicable.Sherlock and Trackr.

do you need a subscription fee for the sherlock. that seems to be the downside to these devises is the monthly fee on the sim card.

trackr needs other users to be within bluetooth range. not sure how well that actually works, how many people in van have the tracker app open on their phones at any given time

OK wally up first on the fork.

that fork was way ahead of its time if you ask me. my 02 big hit with the white bros up front was my favorite bike. was originally Crazy lou's bike/fork back when he actually rode a mountain bike.

the stumpy was also pretty rad in its day, manitou elastomer fork and all. I remember when it used to take longer to go down 7th/crinkem than to ride up.

Does anyone have any info on moto riding in the Shulaps?

Not much to be found on the Google. Shulaps Range trail, Brett Creek trail, and Jim Creek trail seem to be worth a look though.

Looking for route advice, maps, etc. please.

Thanks!

just got back a week ago from 5 days of riding. rules are changing though which sucks

A T handle on the plug kit is much nicer to use IMO.

Bring spare tires. Plural. And plugs for when you run out of spare tires. And don't let your bike rack or hitch block the spare tire from being used. It will be used.

plugs and a small compressor are well advised.

Dash Hill is best 4WD road will take you over 2000 meters. its pretty gnarly though.

The Decline of Vancouver.

while im tossing out great ideas

build a massive industrial park on ALR land at Delta Port with a rail hub. Rezone all the BS industrial land in Richmond and Vancovuer for multi family . Pull all the container trucks off the road running back and forth and put more people closer to the city

Make the ALR a crown corp that can buy ALR real estate and rezone it and sell it . Re invest the money in Agriculture.

as it stands too much money to be made buying marginal ALR land cheap and getting it rezoned and removed.

ALR in the lower mainland is overrated. its basically a place to spray dairy shit (which should likley be done upcountry anyway ) blueberries and holding properties.

not saying ditch it but we there are large swaths or ALR that are just stupid.

How bad on an idea is it to be looking at a 17 KTM 250XC-W as a first bike?

There is a te300 with recluse and left hand brake for 7500 on the lower mainland dirt bike swap Facebook sight
